Try this link: https://downloads.solarwinds.com/solarwinds/Release/WebHelpDesk/12.7.8/webhelpdesk-12.7.8.8471-1.x86_64.rpm.gz It could be that if you install from that RPM you get a trial version instead of free version.

It is a new VM. I ended up removing the machine and started all over. Then I installed just the RPM of 12.7.8 without applying the hotfix2. We have had that problem before. You need to make a change in the Java heap memory allocation. See support.solarwinds.com/.../Performance-Tuning-in-Web-Help-Desk-to-fix-slow-performance
