You can download the installer from the Customer Portal as shown below. Just clock 'Downloads' from the top navigation, select your product and license, and the download buttons will appear.

Correct. This certificate issue is the reason why the Configuration Wizard is failing.
-
The issue is that the content.psd file that is part of Orion is digitally signed and has a certificate that has either been revoked (old version of file that was not replaced when upgrading) or that you are still missing the root or intermediary certificates on that machines certificate store. You can confirm the issue by…
-
Please open a support case so we can troubleshoot this issue further. The solution may be as simple as uninstalling and re-installing.
-
Can you verify that you are monitoring ports in UDT? For example, you should be able to verify this by looking at the Device Tracker Summary page in the All UDT Nodes resource as pictured below. https://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/Orion/UDT/Summary.aspx
-
What is the definition of the other alert you are wanting to combine with the one posted above?
-
Well I think we've successfully ruled out all the easy things. At this point I would recommend opening a case with support so they can delve deeper into the issue. If you'd like to continue troubleshooting on your own though, there are two other things you can try. #1 Verify you have no alert actions using 'Set Custom…

Can you verify that none of the monitored volumes or interfaces on those nodes are in a warning or critical state?
-
Well this isn't the kind of delightful experience we were aiming for. Here is what I can tell you that will hopefully help narrow down things down. It looking as though the warning state is coming from VMAN. It's most likely coming from a metric on that VM/Node that is exceeding a threshold. Below is an example from the…

What version of the Orion Platform are you currently running? Also, do you have Enhanced Status enabled?
-
Is there any ability to filter? E.G. are there Connected to, vendors, or connection types listed? If so, are there numbers next to each filterable option letting you know how many devices are associated with each 'connected to' node, or vendor or connection type? Has this page ever worked, or did it stop working after a…
-
Yes, if applying the Windows Updates to the server did not address the issue then it's likely the certificate came from an internal CA somewhere in the organization. If that's the case, then you will need to get the Root CA, and any Intermediate CA certificates imported into the Windows certificate store of the Orion…
-
Can I assume you are referring to the following page? https://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/apps/udt/devices If so, have you verified that all filters on the left side have been cleared?
-
Are you monitoring the guest VMs as nodes in Orion? If so, what do you see when you hover your mouse over one of the guest VMs that's in a critical state? If possible, please provide a screenshot and obfuscate any sensitive information like the machine name or IP address.

Unchecking 'Encrypt Connections with SSL' should disable encryption, unless it's being forced/required on the server side. Checking the 'Trust server certificate' should ignore errors when a self-signed certificate is used. However, from the error Windows is returning, it sounds like one of the intermediary CAs in the…
-
It sounds like you have self-signed certificate in use on your SQL server that's not trusted on this client I would suggest either not using encryption, or copy the certificate to this machine you're seeing the error on and open it to see which CA in the chain is untrusted. Then import any trusted root certificates into…

The agent self-satisfies any dependancies it needs to function. These include things like the .NET Framework, and C Runtime. It's possible that an older version of one of those dependancies was already installed on that machine, and the upgrade of one of those dependancies resulted in a disruption in service. Again, this…

You will likely find after disabling those extensions that you can no longer download Network Atlas, the Orion Agent/ORC or the APE, AWS, HA installer from the web interface. Similarly, if you own and use the Engineers Toolset with Orion, it's possible that integration will be broken after those changes are applied.
-
At this time, there is no specific 'modify' permission you can grant a user which does not include the ability to add/delete also. This sounds like an excellent feature request though.
-
SolarWinds Patch Manager can deploy MSI packages and integrates with the Orion Platform.
-
It's my guess that there is some widget on that page that is causing the failure. You should be able to test this theory easily by going to Views by Device Type and changing the view for this make/model of device to the regular node details view.
-
The Custom Property Editor allows for bulk editing, so you don't need to change each node individually.
-
Hold down the control key when clicking each of the two objects you want to connect
-
Have you verified the 'Site' Custom Property for those nodes are correct and don't contain any potential illegal characters?
-
As I suspected... So 'nodes' at a high level are additive. Most product modules include some number of node entitlements with their license. In your case.. NCM: 50 SAM: 300 NPM: 100 IPAM: 1024 LA: 10 SCM: 10 Toolset: 10 UDT: 2500 VMAN: 8 VNQM: 5 So the maximum total number of 'nodes' you are entitled to monitor is 4028.
-
Can you provide screenshot of your license details page and/or the license management page? At a minimum, without knowing what modules you have installed, and what license sizes of each, it's difficult to say for certain.
-
Any software that blocks file reads or writes until the software can determine the file is 'safe' can have a direct and significant impact on overall performance of Orion. Specifically the SQL databases and tempDB on the SQL server, as well as the SQLite, SQLCompact databases, MSMQ and RabbitMQ on the Orion servers…
-
Did you create the rules in the web interface or through a Windows based application?
-
This can be scripted using the silent/unattended options of the Configuration Wizard as outlined at the link below. https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Run-the-SolarWinds-Orion-Installer-in-the-silent-mode?language=en_US

Have you tried removing those items and importing the template through the UI? If it's improperly formatted, you should receive an error. The default handling is if an optional property does not exist in the template uploaded, it is handled gracefully through the import process.
