This is not currently possible today, but we are tracking this as a feature request internally under FB298558.

If you're receiving the error "Resource Key 'APMXMLDATA_VB1_1' was not found in Resource File 'APM.Strings'" Please run the configuration wizard. Located at start, all programs, solarwinds orion, configuration and autodiscovery, select "web site" and when it gets to the web settings page add a 1 on to the end of the…

Technical support is available 24 hours a day, though you may have called during a shift change. The issue you're experiencing during upgrade is well documented in the following KB article. I recommend following the steps outline there and then proceed with the upgrade to SAM 5.2 SP1. SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: Error…

I would recommend looking at our IP Address Manager (IPAM) product. You could use the Ping Sweep tool in the Toolset, or even our free IP Address Tracker tool, but based on the size of your environment and your requirements IPAM is really the best solution for your needs.

If this is a default out-of-the-box view you can delete the view entirely, then re-run the Configuration Wizard. This view should then be recreated back to its defaults.

What is it that you're trying to accomplish? Are you simply trying to determine that these CIFS shares are accessible via UNC path? If that's the case, then you can accomplish this relatively easily using vbscript.
-
This is extremely unusual. I would recommend enabling debug mode on this application as pictured below, leave it running until you receive the next false alert. Immediately thereafter collect diagnostics and open a case with support so we can determine the cause of this issue.

The Wireless Module will work fine with Orion NPM 9.1.. You can even see it running on a production 9.1 installation at the following URL http://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/
-
Does this occur only when trying to monitor a specific server or all servers? Are all the Orion services started? Are you using a commercial or evaluation license? Are you running any Orion Additional Pollers in your environment? Has this ever worked? Lastly, what version of SAM are you running?
-
SAM's Windows Event Log Monitor does not allow for and'ing different events. Placing commas to separate multiple Event ID's in the Windows Event Log Monitor is an "or" operation.
-
I believe the answer to your question can be found in the following threads. * Job Engine v2 alerts in Orion Server Template * Event Messages: "Job Engine v2: Worker Processes" * Orion Server template statistics pointing to multiple problems with Orion poller

How many devices do you have Hardware Health enabled on across both NPM & SAM. It may be that there's more data than can be returned in a reasonable time. You may want to consider altering the report to target a specific list of nodes, or reduce the time range for the report. If you aren't maintaining your database indexes…

Have you tried creating your own using the Component Monitor Wizard?
-
A few more would be server resource exhaustion (CPU/Memory) or unusual/unexpected/sporadic component monitor timeouts usually resulting in component monitors showing an "Unknown" status.

Windows the operating system doesn't know anything about duplex. Because each manufacturer stores it's setting differently there is no way of extracting this information via WMI in a standard fashion. I can tell you that both Broadcom and Intel include SNMP agents that make this information available in their MIB. You…

1.79769313486232E+308 is essentially null expressed as a double (8 byte) integer in C#.
-
If you don't mind me asking, why do you need such precise polling intervals? I'm not trying to create trouble, just curious.
-
SeUM does not follow hard coded links, but instead does a fuzzy match based on certain learned elements collected as part of the initial recording. While it's true that if all reference to these elements are missing from the page the transaction will fail. This is normally the desired behavior. It seems like you have a…

Have you considered using the Log Forwarder for Windows available though the customer portal?
-
What version of SAM are you running? Have you tried launching the Real-Time Event Log Viewer and clicking "Start Monitoring" on the events you'd like to be alerted to?

I've had fantastic success integrating NetBotz equipment into Orion. Even adding a custom HTML resource to include the video feed from the device right into Orion. Temp and humidity historical charts are easy to setup with the universal device poller as well as radial gauges for current status. You can trigger alarms in…

a few things Orion v8.0.2 and earlier are not supported on Desktop operating systems, least of all Vista. Windows Server 2000 or Server 2003 are part of the system requirements as seen here.. http://www.solarwinds.net/products/orion/sysreq.aspx Second, you can't upload images/screenshots on this forum you can only…

I use the user defined links to loosely integrate Ciscoworks, Dell OpenManage, Microsoft Operations Manager and such into my node resources. These links are all dynamic. Meaning specific to the node you're viewing using Solarwinds variables in the URL string.

This template is only applicable to IBM DB2 v9.7 or greater and was not designed to work with DB2 9.5.

Have you considered using the LDAP User Experience Monitor, as well as the Exchange Web Services User Experience Monitor, or IMAP4/POP3 User Experience Monitors?
-
This can be done using the IMAP4 User Experience Monitor. Simply configure the SMTP Server setting to send the email to your internal mail servers SMTP server address, and the IMAP settings to use Outlook.com as stated below. Set up an email app with Outlook.com - Outlook.com Help If your email app doesn’t support Exchange…
-
Have you considered creating your own Application template using the "Find Process, Services, and Performance Counters" wizard? It should walk you through the process of creating an application template.
-
Before we jump into running the script in SAM we first need to ensure it executes properly on the Orion server through a normal PowerShell window. Have you configured WinRM on the Orion server and on the remote Exchange Server? Have you installed the necessary Exchange Management Tools on the Orion Server so the PowerShell…

I believe the application template below is precisely what you're looking for.

Have you tried using the pre-configured out-of-the-box alert "High CPU Utilization with Top 10 Processes"?
