You know I'm always good for a screenshot :)

Which page of the UnDP are you seeing this on? This would be in the "Label the Rows in Your Table" page of the UDP. Is this for an OID that's in our MIB database? Yes. 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.4.1.3 If you haven't already, please open a support ticket and send some diagnostics along with it. Also let them know I asked for the…

What kind of data is contained within the column you are tyring to use as a label? The data in the column is users (usernames) that are connected to a Cisco WLC. are any of the other available columns working OK as labels? Yes, there are columns that work as labels but the data doesn't make sense to add to my UDP.

It's essentially identical, though the visualization is subtly different because it's web-based.

SAM 6.0 (currently available in RC) includes full server asset inventory collection, including server warranty status reporting and alerting. Sign-up here and try it for yourself!
-
I would concur with mharvey's recommendation though this can also be done through the Advanced Alert Manager as pictured below. This example can be easily simplified, but I wanted to demonstrate that you can use both percentage used and absolute (total) values for memory utilization for physical and virtual memory.

Can you correlate a specific timeframe, release, or update applied to when this stopped working? E.G. did you apply SAM 6.2.2 and this stopped working properly, or was there a new Windows Update installed that caused this to break? Also, have you tried re-running the "Configure Server" to see if that resolves the issue? A…

We do have a couple of reports posted in the Content Exchange that should provide the information you're looking for. * Credentials Used By APM Component Monitors * APM Component Monitors Whose Credentials are not Inherited from the Original Template
-
Ok, so it would seem that the DHCP user experience monitor only works if your Orion server is on the same subnet as your DHCP server. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It would certainly be nice if the relay agent IP address was populated with the IP address of the Orion server, or if the giAddr was populated with the router…

I think I managed to find the issue. Maybe someone from the Solarwinds APM development team can tell me if I'm on the right track or not. It think I've learned way more about WMI in the last few days than I ever really wanted to know. It would seem as though my issue with the performance counters not populating WMI is due…

Thank you dthvt for bringing this to our attention (and even suggesting a fix!). I've logged this internally under FB383456 and will investigate the issue. We will likely be updating the template posted in the Content Exchange accordingly.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that I'm not the authority on Network Insight for ASA. So rather than guess, I'll defer this question to cobrien.
-
That is correct. Custom Property macros are not supported by the HTTP/S User Experience Monitors at this time.
-
There is no macro method to specify a secondary IP address to use for the HTTP/HTTPS User Experience Monitors. If you wanted to simply configuration your best bet would be to change the polling IP address of the node in Orion to match the IP of the server that the web server is bound to.
-
Note that when you re-run the Configuration Wizard (such as when applying a hotfix), will remove any buddy drops applied to the system. They will need to be re-applied again, assuming they're still compatible after the upgrade.

You will likely have better luck posting this question in the BlackBerry Forums, though a quick search leads me to believe you might not have much luck there either. Have you considered contacting BlackBerry Support for assistance?
-
In some cases what is preventing the upgrade from completing is there are recently installed Windows Updates which are awaiting a reboot. Have you determined if the machine where the agent is installed is requesting a reboot?
-
ikomrad, can you confirm that you have also updated any Additional Polling Engines in your environment with the latest GA releases?

Fibre channel switch monitoring is a function of NPM and/or Storage Manager.

Hey r0berth1, sorry to hear about your flying monkey problem. Just be thankful you're not living with an evil monkey in your closet!
-
Example below.
-
We're actually working on some improvements in SAM that should make this easier to configure, and vastly more powerful. I did however want to point out that if your polling interval is 5 minutes, then delaying the alert by 5 minutes may not necessarily meet the criteria for a sustained condition, as only one polling sample…

The "-ap" switch specifies the AppPool name, while the "-v" switch specifies the version of .NET this AppPool will be running.

Likely the simplest method of being alerted before this becomes a catastrophic event is to use the Windows Event Log Monitor in SAM to key off the 514 event (Sample Below). Event Type: Warning Event Source: ESE Event Category: Logging/Recovery Event ID: 514 Date: 2/23/2009 Time: 11:19:35 AM User: N/A Computer: SRVEXBEL…

Jetty can be monitored via JMX which SAM supports natively. I would recommend following the steps outlined here and then using the "Find Processes, Services, and Performance Counters" wizard under SAM settings to browse the JMX components available through your Jetty server and build a custom Jetty application template.

This is a known issue we are tracking internally under case NCM-2410.
-
After researching these metrics further it appears they are only available through the SCOM Management Pack and Agent when installed on the Domain Controllers.

The User Agent String can be changed by modifying the following Registry Entries, or creating them if they do not already exist. Index:0x2BKeys:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet…

The link below is an excellent starting point. Essentially if you have the manufacturers supplied server management software installed, then this should appear as an option when you perform a 'List Resources' or when you add the node in Orion. Troubleshooting Hardware Health issue in SAM - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help…

From what it looks like it sounds like you may have stumbled upon a bug here. It's not clear what version of the Orion Platform you're running, but my first recommendation would be to upgrade to the latest and see if that resolves the problem. If it does not, please open a case with support so we can determine the cause of…
