Deltona , this is certainly not normal/expected behavior. Nor am I aware of any other customers reporting similar issues. Have you opened a case with support?

Following the steps outlined in the KB article below should resolve the issue. * SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: Configuration Wizard Fails - Exception While Configuring Plugins

A rare circumstance where I've see this occur is when the server where the agent is installed is out of disk space. If that's not the case I would do as chrispaap suggests and look at what new software was installed or upgraded on that server around the time the problem began occurring. If nothing obvious stands out as…

Doesn't the Pi 3 already have Wifi built-in?
-
Out of curiosity, what would you do with the Agent if it ran on the Pi?

It is not currently possible to assign a custom component details view to a specific application, just like it's not possible to have a custom interface details view for a specific device or device type in NPM. Resources in these views will auto-hide if they're not applicable to the component type etc, so for many cases it…

Robert Balzer is correct. For all other non-Mailbox Exchange Roles you should use the appropriate application template. It's more likely (in order of likelyhood) your Linux hosts do not have SNMP configured, enabled, use a different SNMP community string than was provided during discovery, or SNMP restrictions in place prevent those servers from responding to SNMP requests from the Orion server. I would recommend reading through how to…

Case # 44132

This may not be as cool, or it might be ever cooler, depending on your point of view. You can create a custom link in Orion to view the running or startup configuration of any Cisco device running the http daemon with the following links, no Cirrus needed https://${nodename}/level/15/exec/-/show/running-config/CR…
-
My understanding is that the Orion server itself must be a member of the Domain. In a multi-domain environment a trust relationship must exist between the domains before cross domain authentication will work. The PDF available at the link below describes how Active Directory Authentication works in Orion and may help with…

I'm not sure exactly what happened to the KB article but the steps it outlined are available below. 1. Click on Start > Run > regedit & press Enter 2. Find this key name HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanServer\Parameters 3. Locate IRPStackSize 4. If this value does not exist Right Click on…

I uploaded the Solarwinds Diagnostic via LeapFile. Let me know what you find.

dgsmith80 is correct. Once you've moved to the listener, you will need to re-run the Configuration Wizard on all Orion servers, including your Additional Pollers, Additional Web Servers, and HA backups to update them with the new configuration settings for connecting to the database on the AG.
-
While not exactly "merging", you can fulfil this use case today using the copy component monitor option under [Settings - Manage Component Monitors within Templates]

I tested both these scenarios (use of ':' and '%' using the Alert Manager, and both appear to be working fine. I'm running Orion Platform 2019.2 I validated this using Webhook.site - The Webhook Tester
-
You can most certainly install an additional poller (or any other Orion product for that matter) on the 'D:\' drive. After reviewing the case notes cmatrask referenced above, the issue in that case was that some modules (like NPM) were installed on 'C:\' while other modules like SAM were installed on the 'D:\' drive. That…

For what it's worth I'm seeing similar results with one of our 20mb Internet circuits. I occasionally receive alerts that the current interface RX rate is at 125% utilization.
-
Tying both current and historical data into the same report would require writing the report in SQL, but the historical min/max/average is pretty straightforward. Have you given the report settings below a try?
-
Thx to aLTeReGo and SamuelB who clearly know more about server authentication than someone who can rarely spell BGP. Domain membership of the server and trusted sites did it... Happy to help. I'm glad to hear you're up and running.
-
Yeah, what everyone else said
-
If the default out-of-the-box view has somehow become corrupted, simply delete it and re-run the Configuration Wizard. This will recreate any missing/removed default views.
-
I would recommend opening a case with support so we can dig through your log files to determine what's going on. Unfortunately this is a particularly difficult problem to troubleshoot properly via a forum like Thwack.
-
Based on those numbers everything looks good. What does your polling completion rate look like on that same page?
-
If the alert has been altered then this field may be reset to "never". If that is not the behavior you are seeing and unaltered alerts are triggering but this field not updating either the alert is bring triggered by another, different alert than the one expected. If that too is not the case then please open a case with…

I think you meant to respond to this thread, and not start another one. If these are Mount Points then I understand why you're not able to monitor these as normal volumes in Orion. As you're probably already aware this is something we're currently working on. In fact, the latest SAM 5.5 beta include support for monitoring…

SAM 6.2.4 is in Release Candidate currently and is being rolled out slowly. If it's not in your Customer Portal now, check back daily.

sdejong123, I appreciate your willingness to help the rest of the community but I believe Peter.Cooper refrained from posting this information publicly because it is not an officially supported workaround. I'm glad to hear it resolved your issue, but I would be remiss if I did not honor Peter's original intent and clearly…
