Can you please try a different browser? It sounds like it may be an issue with Cookies.

It's not clear to what variable it is you are referring. Can you provide a more detailed explanation of what you're trying to accomplish?

What hardware category or which hardware sensor is showing in a warning state when those alerts are triggered?

There was an issue with Core 2017.1 Hotfix 1 which did not properly update the manifest that is used by the Scalability Engines Installer to determine what needs to be installed or upgraded. This was subsequently fixed for hotfixes released thereafter.

I'm not seeing this in my lab environment. Please ensure that you are using the appropriate "Model" field, as there are no less than 11 fields in the Report Writer named "Model". The one you should be using in this report is under [Asset Inventory -> System Information]. If that does not resolve the issue, please open a…

Sorry but we've been having some issues with Thwack very recently that appears to have prevented the notification of your posting from being sent. I have responded to your thread in the RC forum.

, if you're willing to either post MIB walks using this tool from your IBM Blade Chassis or email them to me directly at the address below I will add them to this feature request. We wanted to add support for IBM Blade Chassis in the SAM 5.5 release but there was an insufficient number of customers willing to provide MIB…

I just want to know if we change to WMI, we will loose the ability to monitor the status of our hard drives/raid controllers? For Dell equipment yes. For HP or IBM no. Dell does not provide storage hardware health information via WMI at this time.

From the IIS Site details page in the Site Details resource click on the 'URL'. When prompted, enter the same credentials used to monitor AppInsight for IIS and see if you get the same result.
-
The Bindings monitors are HTTP/HTTPS user experience monitors that are attempting to access the web interface for the URLs blacked out in your screenshot above. It looks as though your website requires authentication, which would explain why you're receiving a "401 Unauthorized" error. You can provide credentials for these…

By default the Legacy Advanced Alert Manager disables/removes any alerts which have been successfully converted. Usually the only alerts which don't migrate are those that are broken and weren't functioning in the legacy Advanced Alert Manager anyway. If for some reason a legitimate alert is not migrated for whatever…

Also, if you have any Agents deployed, please ensure that their date/time is set correctly. It could be that the date is set improperly on one or more of your agent machines, which would then cause that data not to be summarized or purged from the database as part of nightly maintenance since that data appears to have been…

Yes. This issue was resolved in the SAM 6.0.1 Service Release.

Hardware Health is provided by the vendor supplied agent software installed on the server. As for CSV's SAM 5.5 provides out of the box monitoring of Windows Volume Mount Points, not Cluster Shared Volumes. If you need to monitor your CSV's I recommend taking a look at our Virtulization Manager or logging a feature request…

We're tracking this internally as FB84118

I'm glad you found a solution. SeUM is a truly a terrific product.

SAM 6.1, recently released includes Web Service monitoring for both restful API's such as JSON, and SOAP.

The following report should provide the information you're looking for. Orion Polling Engine Load

I assure you that this is not for a lack of interest or desire, but rather feasibility. The nature of the security vulnerability is within the information service itself, which is essentially central to how virtually all data is shared between modules and the Orion Platform. That means such a change is not isolated in any…

Case # 95889 for those of you following along at home

If you would like to know the cause, reference my post above to include the full details of the Windows event that generated this alert in the body of the email notification. The reason why this template would generate an alert is for any of the following reasons: * Locked out user account * Disabled user account * User…

It sounds like the node is managed via WMI. Is that correct? What exactly is the failure you're seeing and where are you seeing it? A screenshot would be very helpful. Is it at all possible you're nearing the poller capacity or that this occurs during database maintenance or database backups? Another possibility is that…

robert.dimov wrote: Question so in 2017.3 - High Availability will support different subnet , will this take across AWS - Multi Tenancy setup using Virtual Host Names ? Thanks Yes. In fact, there is an out-of-the-box alert configured to update the virtual hostname in Route53.

We should be rolling out the release candidate in the next few weeks. As a beta participant, you will be among the first to be notified once it's made available.

Thanks for the feedback Deltona. That's an excellent feature request, and something we are seriously considering for a future release.

Can you click on both of the items listed in the table and post a screenshot of each? I really need to see the 'Server Type' to determine what's going on. Also, it appears DWSOLARWINDS01 is down, which can't be the case since it's the server you're accessing in the web interface. Can you ensure the date/time are in sync…

Thanks Vik for the feedback. I seems however that some of your points may be unrelated or not specific to the beta. As for your point #1, I'm not entirely sure I completely understand what you're seeing (or not seeing) based solely on your description, but it sounds somewhat unlikely related to the beta. If that is the…

Great feedback jpl3. We like to think we addressed many of the shortcomings of FoE with HA, but would love to get your experienced opinion if you think we've hit the mark. If you haven't already, take HA for a spin and let us know what you think.

silverbacksays, what operating system(s) are you running the Beta on?

Out of curiosity, how far off was the clock on the secondary server from the primary?
