  • hey gbrance, if Orion can't reach a device, the status is changed to "warning". if the device responds in time (specified in "advanced settings -> node warning intervall"), the status is changed to "up". take a look at your alert rule, pretty sure it says : alert me when node goes down/up, NOT when it's in warning state.

  • well, we gave up the idea of changing the routers to ping devices. is it possible to change the monitored interfaces for multiple nodes ? we'd like to monitor the cpu of the routers, nothing more. anybody has an idea ? regards, josch
