It is pretty ridiculous that i can't get this to work If i create a custom table, i can get it to display the right data, choosing the following: That is not available for me in a graph, can't work out why. In the graph i only have: And that isn't right, as the graph never populates.

Anyone? this seems to be a ridiculously hard this to do! another example of the over complication or setting anything up

or, to make it easier - 16 M630 Dell Blades in one Chassis - these would have the same sensor right?
-
so aLTeReGo an example would be a HP Procurve Switch, a Dell R520, and maybe a Dell Blade Centre Chassis. Looking at their device pages, all have the sensors - so am i best to pick say, the CPU temperature across them all? and if so, how? is this still off overall hardware health? or the node selection? Appreciate the…

Weird, i need pretty much the same thing, and cannot for the life of me work out the time. so create a new report in web based reports Add a Custom Table, and choose Appinsight for exchange: Mailbox. I want a specific mailbox, but for you it would be all i would think. Add that to layout, then click edit table - add:…

We do this using Slack (Slack: Be less busy) and a 'post to webpage' alert. Slack allows you to post to an API to send messages, and we even have separate channels for the alerts. All users have the iphone / andriod app on their phones, and notifications are pushed to them. This procedure would work for any service that…

Guys this is absolutely brilliant information thank you. I won't get a chance to try it out until Monday, but appreciate the help.

We have a similar setup to you. Citrix XenApp: Servers added to NPM for CPU / Memory / disk monitoring Servers added to SAM to XenApp monitoring. There are 3 main XenApp templates - i suggest you look at them, see which each component does, then create your own - and just add in the stuff you want. Ours contains: - All…

cheers guys - yeah was talking about nodes, sorry the wording of my question was rubbish I'll have a look at the feature requests - bet there is already one there!

Thought i'd update this just in case someone is searching and having the same issue... logging in via putty, and doing show run was also an issue, so it would sh some of the running config, but then just stop at port D15... So i renamed port D15 to something shorter (just a guess) and this seemed to work. So if you see the…

so i've set an alert, added the execute a program trigger and put: Invoke-Command ldnentaapi01.web.seetickets.com -scriptblock { iisreset.exe /restart } this KB article seems to think that as long as alerts manager is being run as an admin account it will work?…

how did you get SAM to recognise just the 66 out of your output? im struggling with this
-
as alterego says, the deafult alert me when a component goes down will work, but this will alert you on every component in your environment, and this might be a problem if you have alot. you can create a new alert give it a name and a description for the trigger you want to alert on 'component' and the actually trigger…

I'm just posting this up - had some conversations with the product team - been using the global search for a few weeks, its an excellent addition. So i'd had a few issues - replies are in line: 1) If I search for a mailbox by username this is shown in the results, but clicking the resulting link takes me to the Exchange…
