Yer i'm using SNMPv3 should have said really. I seem to gotten a little further forward as now UDT checker don't return any errors but i still cannot see any devices on the interfaces in UDT on 2960x devices. We don't run Cisco DNA but i'll look into using those commands suggested

Additional Aruba switches work no issues it's just the Cisco switches which we are replacing but will take some time
-
I looked at the agenda and it felt more like a sales pitch to me where the SWUG i went to last year and year before that were great and full of techy stuff and the social atmosphere was great which is saying a lot as i'm autistic
-
I get the SWUG this year is more sales pitch than techy stuff so will be missing this one. Also the one day makes it less value going by the time train tickets or flights are paid for.
-
Yes I found that the issue was with us using Clearpass and also you need to manually tell SW to use the Aruba profile auto detect does not work
-
Yer I don't think i'll be going to the UK one this time Higher Education there has pretty much dropped it's pants and there's budget cuts across the sector
-
Thanks the template and also a issue with Clearpass was the reason our NCM issue was a thing
-
Hello there just in case anyone has the same issue I found the issue with our config. The problem was that on the polling engine the login we used was returning the wrong Aruba user-group and we had to make a change on clearpass and once we done that the Aruba template works by default.…

Would like to say when I go into Script management and run a basic script like to copy running config to startup config it appears to work
-
How did you manage that we have 50 CX Aruba 6300F switches and they refuse to work with ANY aruba template
-
No we cannot get any stack info from SW in regards to Aruba I cannot even get NCM to work with the new CX switches to download configs
-
That's good to hear cause we are heavy users now of Aruba products and it has been a headache to get the same level of info from Aruba products in SW where Cisco was dead easy. It's been that much an issue the only reason we still use SW is cause I have been insistent on keeping the platform and my autistic brain really…
-
I have found that Aruba support in SW NPM and NCM very poor overall. It's almost like Solarwinds is giving Aruba products the finger and giving Cisco the special treatment
-
Hello there sorry my post wasn't intended to have a go at the staff who work hard to maintain the community as you guys and ladies are doing an amazing job it was more just a general vent which really was uncalled for. Please pass on my apologies and thanks to the staff who are hard at working keeping Thwack safe and fun
-
Thanks sorry for putting this in the wrong area. The general page don't need to see any status info just if a group is green yellow or red but based on what you said it might be better to just pull the stats and use another solution
-
Seconded I did this and got a much faster reply though at the time my renewal date was days away and I was leveraging the threat to move
-
In SolarWinds 2024.3.1 the search for more licenses

The automated update tool for us is very hit and miss. Sometimes we have no issues at all and it goes well. Sometimes it makes the whole platform fall flat on it's backside and break down forcing us cause we need the platform to help manage and monitor our estate to rollback with server snapshots. It's weird cause once we…
-
Never had any issues submitting tickets and I have submitted a few. Weird that's all I can say
-
Not sure what product you got but we use the following products NCM NPM Netflow Netpath UDT I'm still relatively new to the platform but I would say from personal experience the support has been decent I log calls and I got help sometimes took a little time like when NCM collapsed due to a SQL issue after update and we…

No worry thank you :)

Kinda Sad but I would would a SW themed one for my airsoft rig
-
Nice one I'm saving my points up for something I like in the store
-
Unforantely there is no way a company can predict every bug and glitch that may show up depending on various configs and setups. Our policy at my workplace is not to upgrade right away unless there is a security concern and wait a month for the up to date version to bed down. Course if there is a security concern that the…
