We have several ecommerce sites, so we require all staff to be on-hand (no vacations or scheduled time-off) and we limit non-essential outbound traffic to maximize bandwidth to the web-sites.

Great stuff once again sqlrockstar​! I shared your the password article with my co-workers. We have a system here that will not even allow the same character in the same spot as the last password, which means we get a lot of calls from really angry users!

I agree on the documentation. One of the first tasks we assign to newbies is to review and update the documentation for their area. Not only do they learn what's what, but we get better insight on them by how they complete this task.

Awesome picture! When I was younger, there was a swing bridge in my home town that had train tracks on the upper deck and cars on the lower deck (Rock Island Swing Bridge, Inver Grove Heights, MN ). It was quite unnerving to be going across the bridge and have a train rumbling by 15 feet over your head!

Haha, he called that snow! I am a little south of you, down in the cities. We didn't get as much snow as you but were blessed with freezing rain. All in all, I'd rather have the snow!
