Support have just confirmed +/- values are not currently possible to do. I've raised a FR to add additional logic to the Warn/Critical Monitors -

Change %3560% to be the specific model of switch your wanting to report on. Two UnDP needed for OIDs - chassisModel - 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.16 pethMainPseConsumptionPower - 1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.3.1.1.4 SELECT N.NodeID AS ID,N.Caption AS Switch,CPS.Status AS Watts FROM dbo.CustomPollers AS CP JOIN dbo.CustomPollerAssignment AS…

Finally getting a chance to work on this now. If I use the SQL User Experience Monitor wont I have to apply the Monitor to the SQL Server and not the Node I am monitoring eg the Steelhead? As it doesnt allow me to specify the SQL Server (only the instance)?
-
Sorry thought i'd replied to this. On the same train of thought you could do a powershell script to do a SNMP query and return the same 1,2,3 etc. May help to keep down the amount of UnDP but may be harder on the device/server while polling.
-
I hadn't to be honest I wasn't even aware of the product. It looks like the ROP is the same as the APE (requirements wise) except its a cheaper solution with less polling capacity (ref: Remote Office Poller for Additional Polling Engine )
-
I'm seeing exactly the same problem here with the same configuration. Has there been any update as to why/how this should work from Support/PM direct?
-
I dont know that make but with APC you can check to see when Live Voltage drops below 235/105volts?
-
In this instance im not overly worried about alerts etc. The whole reason for me looking at this was so that I could assign a APM Template to all our Backed up servers that would list out the current Backup Exec Agent Versions along with the Server Agent version (this is important they all are the same) then add additional…

I can confirm I havent seen the issue again since installation the patch (6 days). I have been told that this fix will be included in the next release. Support may provide the files if you quote FB136338 I am however seeing another issue which matches SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: HP Proliant Hardware Monitoring Fails…

Sadly I knew posts like this were coming and as such I have held off upgrading to 10.4 even though it fixes some outstanding issues. I run 3750 switches too so will hold off until 10.x but fear the problem will just be in another area. Can we have a poll for new features that includes "greater QA testing" as an option? I…

Nice thanks, shouldnt be as hard on SQL as the LIKE statements!
-
Thats great thanks, hadnt seen that pdf before!

Is there anyway to have the +/- a value? Eg - Voltage on a system is 240volts, I want to warn when its +/- 5% and critical when +/- 10% I'm probably not seeing the solution but is there any easy way to do this? Thanks

Just an update on this, I've sort of managed to get it working. Heres what I did in a nutshell - Add 2x Custom Properties to each node (Longitude & Latitude). Create an alert that looks for LON01 in the hostname (you could also use SNMP Location = LON01 etc) In the Trigger actions Create an action to change a custom…

I guess I could write a bit of sql to query the UnDP value... I'll have a think and if I work something out will post back.

This is something we would also like (AD users and groups)

I dont think it has to be classed as "Reserved" it could be classed as "Unusable" or "Network". If you did this wouldnt that mean that engineering could still have "Reserved" as part of the licensing where as the Network / Broadcast addresses (tagged with a different option) dont come out of the license? Happy to do a…

I created the first one

You can create a Custom Property eg Documentation then in the field paste in the link (this will be stored as text) so to make it clickable just add <a href="www.link.com">Docs</a> HTH

Thanks aLTeReGo do you know when the next SAM update ETA is?
-
Though as much, will raise a feature request to have the SWQL Filters like on the NPM Resources / Node Trees etc. Feature Request : http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1305

Nice one thanks for posting this, sadly I've only just seen the message though and have some data already in the new DB!!
-
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I managed to get this working with a UnDP. If you poll the following SNMP Table it will gfive you the % utilization of each core in your SPLAT FW 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.6.7.5.1.3

I'm planning on doing an install tomorrow so will see if I get anywhere with it and post back.

Click "Customize page" and add the Custom HTML object.

I've the same problem, please vote here to add weight to the feature request - http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1291

I'm also getting the same issue, anyone have any news? Thanks, Peter

I believe the Acknowledged Events user tracking is already in place, not sure how I missed this. Though a comment box with the Unmanage times could be useful to log a CC number or reason.
-
Something like this would be perfect in my view -
-
Yea we'd thought about that but we were trying to reduce the admin (which typically gets missed from time to time). Our SNMP Location field is the postal address, this way it was easy to see where something is without needing coords etc. I've raised a FR asking for a type of location mapping table but not sure if it'll get…
