The only downside to this approach, is you must remember to add the custom property when a new device is added. It's just an extra step. Using the NodeName as the trigger means alerting is automatically enabled when the device is added to monitoring.

What type of router are you getting the IP ARP info from? You should see info coming from the router first & then the bridge info from the switch.

You should never monitor a WAN or LAN interface IP. You should always use a Loopback IP on all your devices for polling, NTP, Tacacs & sending SNMP traps. Then just make sure you advertise the loopback IP's into your S2S VPN tunnel.

This would be possible with Custom SNMP polling - Get Table, which would allow you to get the routing table off a router. Apparently this will be available in Solarwinds V9 due out in Q2 this year. 

OK, thanks for the info Chris. It appears I will have to use the Engineers Toolset DHCP Scope Monitor tool to do this as before, and see if the Windows server admin group are willing to setup an admin service account which has rights to do this (our network group does not own these servers).

Thanks for looking at this Denny, Even changing the existing dropdown in APM and VoIP Monitor to include 7 & 30 day stats, like NPM, would be a benefit. This would make NPM, APM & VoIP Monitor consistent in their look and feel.

Open Windows Task Manager on your server & sort your processes by CPU. What process(es) is chewing up the majority of your CPU?

Sorry Steve, I was going to mention the files did not show up in the CSZ. If you are using the Lean & Green user interface, try changing to the default view. The CSZ was all messed up for me until I reset my profile to the default view.
