Yes there is a way to do this. Have you changed the dropdown selection above the nodes to interfaces? Next select a common property for all interfaces you want to delete. Then mark the checkbox at the top of the interfaces column and select the "apply to all" text which will appear next to it.

You'd still have to go in after the discovery & tell it what resources you want to monitor - CPU/Memory & all, only active or no interfaces.
