Here is a work around. Set up executable task instead of audible alert. Batch file example: START /d "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Media Player" /min wmplayer "%windir%\media\Windows Ding.wav" timeout /T 3 taskkill /IM wmplayer.exe

Could you pull up the node down alert in the Orion Advanced Alert Manager. And goto 'Trigger Actions' tab and select 'edit selected action'.Check for the following settings. Time of the day and Alert Escalations.

Easiest way to do is on GUI. Log into the GUI and goto the Wireless Tab. Select "Show: Access Points" from the top,which will list all the AP.Then look for the one which you are interested,you should be able to track the number of clients . Hope this helps.
