Brethren and Sistren, Behold day 25 is a tricky mistress. She hides in plain sight. Do not trust your eyes and go with your gut. My RECOMMENDATIONS are TRUTH and hope you do not fall to her trickery. A fallen Lad without 150 points.

I figured out the network and everything, but there were so many red herrings. I feel like that hint was taking away more than it helped. But re reading it, it provides you the clue to figuring it out.

Same... I realized it unfortunately after answering two. Just thought I was really bad at this.
-
Geez Day 1 was already rough.
-
So when is SWUG coming to Hawaii?
-
When the answer is on the web tab. That was a rough question.
-
Is the cooking done on server cpus?
-
LoL dat video. It says the answer 5 seconds in. I really should have watched the video.
-
Second the budget thing. We have bought so many new tools recently, but do we really know how to use them all. debatable.
-
I just got my ccnp and that question was hella confusing.
-
I would agree... But legit the answer is pretty much verbatim in that hint.

We don't believe in dependencies at my workplace... also no one has to time to assign all our UPS. When we have power outages, it's a hot mess.
-
We use snmp on the loopback and additional icmp nodes for the circuit IP. Only way to get latency and packet loss statistics for each IP.
-
I use a syslog alert. Note it’s also very good at finding lagged servers bouncing because I can’t differentiate interfaces in the syslog.
-
Are you able to run the code remotely from the solarwinds server manually? Your issue might be a remote access problem.
-
Late to this. Vendor is pulled from snmp or the custom device poller.
-
I’ve been toying with device template and pulling Palo Alto in the set format. set cli config-output-format set you can then copy paste that bad boy in cli. be aware though… if you are running panorama, the full config doesn’t live on the local device and this becomes moot.
-
I think the device snmp has an issue. Can you run a snmp walk on the device and verify the OID in the custom puller exists on that device? If you haven’t used snmpwalk, it’s on the puller engine usually like C:\program\solarwinds\orion\snmpwalk.exe.

What happens if you left join instead of just join?
-
Picture or it never happened

I ran a subnet discovery in my environment and confirmed they will show up as User SYSTEM created node. Just like you see there. Sorry friend.
-
I think it’s because it was added using network discovery. I found actual usernames in my database.

Good point. I found the EOS support document. It mentions adding manually. https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/ncm/content/ncm-managing-end-of-support-and-end-of-sales.htm Nothing more automated. SWQL wiki doesn't mention anything like that. I've found that i have different application and hardware EOSL,…
