  • I too would like to know if they can extend the trial to get us to June. I have 23 days left of the evaluation and would like to keep it until then. With the new pricing scheme, I should be able to drop from the 16000 down to the 1000 level with a little room or the 4000 with quite a bit of growing room.
  • This query gives you one report will show all the vm's and their state. We don't have it broken down by their status, just by the host system. SELECT VirtualMachines.DisplayName, VirtualMachines.OperatingSystem, VirtualMachines.PowerState, Nodes.Caption FROM VirtualMachines INNER JOIN Nodes ON VirtualMachines.HostNodeID =…
  • This is done under the web console. Click on Admin - Account Manager - select the account you want to disable IPAM for. On the bottom of the page is IP Address Manager Settings, expand this. You can then change the IPAM Summary View to None. This will remove the menu item of IP Address Manger. Hope this helps. KCWayner
  • Great work! Speed is up and I like the simple way of changing the page size. Also, reading about the update, I like that it should delete the temp files that fill the drive due to linked backgrounds.
  • I've been seeing it on our Virtual Servers that are setup for DCHP. Would definitely be nice to have a solution for it.
  • Mine was slow when I had 9.5 SP1. I finally upgraded to SP2 and the hotfix and it is just a second or 2 after the rest of the screen comes up before the map appears. A lot better performance now.
  • I'm having the same issue. It says that I have APM, NetFlow Traffic Analyzer, NCM and VOIP that are incompatible. I had installed APM for demo but removed it months back. I have not even demo'd NetFlow or VOIP. I just upgraded by NCM to 5.5 so I'm not sure what it is complaining about. I have NPM 9.1 SP5, NCM 5.5, IPAM…
  • I just installed it without stopping the services manually. No problems. The services shutdown automatically and everything came back up and seems to be working fine.
  • I bit the bullet and went ahead with the SP2 and the hotfix and wow, my map loads 100x faster than it did before. I have kept my maps pretty simple and since the upgrades I have redone most of them to take advantage of options I hadn't used before. I have disabled my scripts that killed the w3wp process to see if that is…
  • I'm still on SP1 as I wanted to see how SP2 worked for people. My site was crashing too with just SP1 (ticket 99007). I then created a batch command to stop the w3wp process every day at 1 AM. Have not had the web page lock up on me since. It has been a week since I created it. The memory usage still goes high, but I guess…
  • I'm in the same boat. I opened a case last week and have sent a few updates with diagnostics but haven't heard anything in the last few days. Case 99007. There were some errors in the logs that I included too not knowing if they had anything to do with it.
  • My thanks too. I just upgrade last week and now started to receive this message.
  • We have NPM, NCM, IPAM, and the Engineer Toolset running on 1 VM with 2000 nodes. We have another VM with APM running (pretty new so small but growing). We have a few other NPM servers spread out covering different regions. Then we have a third VM with EOC on it to tie them all together into 1 nice wrapper of a web page.
  • In the Advanced Alerts, edit the alert and go to the Trigger Actions. Highlight the Paging action. There is an Alert Escalation tab that you can configure to repeat this action every so often to remind that it is still an issue. It doesn't look like it can be done in the Basic Alerts.
  • I'm going to go with freemen on this. I checked mine out and those columns don't exist in mine. Someone probably created them at one time to drive some alert or something.
  • Tech Support got back with me and we did a GOTO meeting. They identified a flaw in the code that they are working to fix in the next release. They did give me a workaround for now. The workaround is editing the LayoutMasterPage.master file on the server. The file can be found under the Profram Files\Solarwinds\EOC\Website.…
  • I would like to see an Audit report of what IP's are found within IPAM but are not within NPM. We have a lot of people that add devices and it would be nice to find them without having to manually go through and check each one.
