I followed your links (mostly 3) and i think i have all things necessary in the script and also get the correct output, but still got the "Test failed with unknown status". What i missed: I did not choose a server for "Get Script Output" an no credentials. When i did that, the output was generated and the test afterwards…

Since I read that to execute a script through the agent it must be set to "Execution Mode: Local Host" i tried again and now I did NOT get the "Unable to schedule job on agent node 11 - required APM plugin is missing or not installed properly." error I got before, but I got the "Test failed with unknown status" "COMPONENT…

I managed to "fix" this problem with deleting the agent and reinstall it again.
-
Sadly Go to C: > Program Files (x86) > SolarWinds > Orion > PollerCheckerTool.exe does not exist. The only folder is "Agent" below Solarwinds.<br /><br />I will open a ticket then, but thank you for your help :) I thought it's best to post it here so everyone can benefit from an answer.

Could you please help me to troubleshoot the OIDs? We use a passive agent (I'm forced to use it passive by our company policy).
-
No, its a "(passive agent connected) Windows 2019 node " as I wrote above ;) The Red Hat NIC comes from the Hypervisor. What puzzles me is that the detail about the memory clearly shows 83%, while the node itself shows 95% memory used.
-
I also added the monitoring user with "Set-PSSessionConfiguration Microsoft.PowerShell -ShowSecurityDescriptorUI -Force" with full access (https://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/en/flarehelp/sam/content/sam-setting-powershell-permissions-sw1456.htm) and run the scriupt…

Strangly the node was completely messed up. E.g.it showed me non-existing drives, but missd real drives. I deleted the node and re-added it and no problems now.
-
That's a great answer and solution, thanks a lot :)

The problem is reported by the "Windows Scheduled Tasks Component Monitor". Which I can't find in the SAM Component Monitors.
-
Can you please help me with "you can narrow down the scope of your alert to trigger only on volumes of type Fixed Disk to eliminate memory volumes from triggering the alert."? There is no scope in this alert, its a "Custom SQWL Alert (Advanced)" that has no scope.
-
I see the resources there. I only want to have ""Alert me when volume has less than 60 days of capacity left"" only used on volumes/disks. When I deselect memory in the "List resources". willIi still be able to get warnings if the memory is used >90% for a period of time?
-
I dont want to deselect them, I want to change it, so disabled tasks dont get checked for errors.
-
I guess this has to be done in the SAM templates? In the "Windows Scheduled Tasks Template" I find the "Windows Scheduled Tasks Component Monitor"- And here I'm stuck. I dont find how work with that any further, so I could configure that tasks that are disabled cant produce a warning regardless of their outcome/state.
-
Thank you a lot, that was exactly I was searching for :)
-
It obviously took some minutes to propagate that, Now its green. Still im stuck with setting an individual threshold here.
-
I changed the threshold to 90%, but still get the warning of 80% in the summary of the disk.
-
I need to override the values in "Thresholds & PollingGeneral Settings" per object, but "Disk Usage" does not even allow me to unselect it.
-
But how can I work with that? I need to have a threshold of 5%. Best a threshold of 5%, but a minimum of 10GB or a maximum of 1TB. (the later values overide the 5%). But I would happy to just find out how to set the threshold for this particular disk to a different value, % or fixed.
-
Ok, I found out its the child (the disk) that reports the warning. And it seems to do that because its 80.5% full. But I dont see which alert is reporting here. The only alert active is "Alert me when the free space of a volume is less than 5%". Where does the warning with 80% come from?

For anyone else with that problem: Solarwinds Orion translates some of the text to german if there is a german language pack installed. I dont know why it does that. Makes no sense to me to translate some settings and other not.
