A light year is a unit of distance based on how far a photon of light will travel in a years time...but it is dependent on the medium it is going through as the speed of light. Light speed is the velocity of light in a given medium. Light is fastest in a total vacuum with no gravitational fields nearby. Lightspeed in air…

IoT is already a big thing not to mention a security risk. 5G is coming for IoT? Not sure about that. 5G is a cellular protocol and operates off of cell towers. It's benefit is higher data bandwidth. So unless IoT has a bunch of little cell tranceivers I don't see that happening....

Yes it still exists and has grown in capability over the years due to new software and abilities to do things. To play it…

It helps spread out the noise floor so that there are not as many devices desensing the same AP....

Something I forgot to mention as well as transaction rate (number of transactions per minute/hour/day), you need to measure how long the transactions take. Some you can do with APM, but for details you need to instrument your data with ARM or something equivalent so you can measure the individual transaction steps and know…

no joy here either...

It's not just rogue devices that present a threat...it is the unsecured and/or compromised BYOD devices
