Feature request: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/4935 Hope this link works.
-
PLEASE make an option to exclude! I just voted this up. I am running into same thing with a script for vlan changes
-
This worked! Thanks!

Don--Did the links Mark sent work for you? I'm about to do this myself and had been planning to do the process you described in your original post. -Jessica

Yes! I found it. Thank you! Do you know if there are any more details in the CredentialProperty table that don't show in the default view? I see a user in there that has several entries, but there are no password details for it. I have a suspicious it has incorrect information and is the source of my SNMP logging failures…

The top two get disabled.
-
I don't know if they are default or what I've added they've been in there so long. I just know the top two always get disabled and not the others. Every single time.
-
Yes, I know that. The problem is the dynamic reporting that was available in NCM is gone. I used to be able to go into a reporting and then dynamically choose to show either only systems with name like "X", or only systems in that report with Machine Type "y", and so on. Now it appears that to get any of that information,…

Ok dumb question, but how do I figure out what my nodeID is?
-
Yes, I do have AAA and Cisco ACS. It catches all our CLI commands. The dilemma is the use of a service account for changes-mostly snippets-done via NCM. In AAA these all show up as one user, but for auditing, I need to be able to go back into NCM and see (easily) who did what. I am finding it's not as easy to pull this…

I think this needs some work though. I'm actually try to pull all changes on specific users and having a hard time getting the info. I can't even filter on a specific user in the transfer screen. Is there a way to do this that I'm not seeing?
-
Yeah, I already have accounting configured on TACACS with my ACS server, the reports are just pretty ugly and huge. Sounds like I have just need to see if it's possible to refine those. I'm not sure I want to be notified every time someone makes a change. That could create a barrage of emails. Probably a daily TACACS…

The 56128s don't show up correctly in 11.5.2-I'm running that version. I guess I just wait for the code to catch up.
-
Kind of. that is the field I am referring to, but I want it in this chart. I'll check out the web report angle. angle.

Hmm. Well, I haven't tried the IOS script yet, but unfortunately the CatOS script doesn't work. It gave me the same response with "wrong password". -jessica

Thank you!!

I have NCM,. I don't see anything where I can run a custom show command from the web. I can run scripts, reports and jobs, but that is not what I want to do. And I do not want to open an ssh session. Where is the feature you are thinking of in NCM found? This used to be possible in the app on the server, but that was…

No, but that's a cool report.
-
Tried this one but it erred on Cirrus.Audit. The second one said Orion.Accounts was invalid. I put these in Report Writer as and Advanced SQL report. Will keep fiddling
-
I will try this and report back. I still need single user reports though for auditing.
-
Some of these reports are extremely short, the but size never reduces under 2 mb. I guess I'll enter a ticket in the hopes there is a fix--these reports didn't used to be this huge.
-
Using reverse logic still will not read the space in my interface caption. I've been told this is actually a bug and you guys are working on it.
-
OK well I did a feature request. Thanks!
-
I'd like to see this too. Automated reports of pairs of devices would be a good way to review configs and make sure they're in sync.
-
I also tried asterisks instead of % but that failed as well.
-
Did you ever find a fix for this? I have the same issue and have excluded vlans (I've tried 2-3 ways) and none of the exclusions are working.
-
So I finally got this to work. The fix was when editing the node in node properties, for SNMPv3, you only enter the user name and its password. You have to leave the context blank. Now I have 3 of my test devices added and will add a 4th today.
