Hi, sorry for late answer but Xmas and all that mass .... :-) Anyway I found not any issues during upgrade. BR, Jaroslaw

I'd suggest to setup AVAILABLE SPACE treshold depending on volume size. I mean smaller treshold for smaller disks etc.

I'd suggest to restart all Orion services on Orion server (Programs > Solarwinds Orion > Orion Service Manager). If will not help then run Configuration Wizard for all items (database, website. services). If problem still exist then you have 2 options: 1. repair NPM installation from Control Panel > Uninstall Programs >…

If you have device configured to send flows then enable storing of flows in Manage Flow Sources, or keep automatic addition enabled on the NTA Settings page. You may go to documentation to find more info Manage NetFlow sources and CBQoS polling

I'm not sure how it works with latest platform 2019.4, where SAM is licensed per node - not per component. If yes - than it no matters for components but still nodes are licensed.
-
Have you tried to run Configuration Wizard? If not - I'd suggest to do it. If no result then run SolarWinds diagnostic tool (...Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SolarwindsDiagnostics.exe) - it will help to find out the cause before you call SW support In latest version of NPM - the tool I ment is in another folder:…

The issue looks to be caused by SQL server. Please have a look at below (probably you know that): Try operations on SQL server configuration (see parallelism) and ask SQL admin to shrink and fix indexes on DB.
-
Have you tried Device Studio to create pollers for Dell node?
-
It looks like some kind of mismatch in between server software and installation stuff. I would uninstall all SW applications (including RabbitMQ) and install them from the beginning using the same DB and offline installer. So you will get all your data back (make a backup of Report Writer reports if you have any).
-
RabbitMQ runs on main poller as far as I know - not on APE and AWS. So there should not be any impact of to APE now AWS. I agree that it should not be reported as a problem for APE and AWS - you may shadow that for those servers.
-
Just create CP "To_notify" (as example) containing email address of recipient (group address of recipients )and use it in alert. Then you can use one alert for all nodes.
-
I think it is not NOC issue but general web site setup. Please have a look at Admin>Web Console Settings>Site Logo URL.
-
I assume you are upgrading Orion platform on the same server. So I'd suggest to make backup of your database and all your Report Writer reports - if you have any (they are not in db) - then uninstall all Orion platform products and run NPM Offline Installer again. All licensing and other stuff is still in your SQL…

Hi Mike, I'm using Orion on virtual server with SQL database on another virtual server without special problems for around 2 years. Jaroslaw

I'd suggest to make dynamic group with at least 4 nodes DOWN, then change status to 'Show the best status' and finally trigger alert if the group is DOWN.

Would be very useful to have 'View Options' on NTA Top XX graphs like on all other charts. I'm just preparing new summary view of Last Month and added Top 5 Applications graph but it has only default time setup and no way to customize it: Maybe you know any tricky way to have 'View Options' on customized views outside…

It works for me - I mean resizing. I'm draging out the line to increase width and then editing widget (click on EDIT - top right corner of map widget) to change hight (shown in pixels). Then click Save.

As far as I know NPM gets bandwidth from interfaces OIDs by SNMP (on WAN device). For more information you may go to Success Center If you have better information about real bandwidth you may edit interface property and overwrite the value. So this information is polled from entities by NPM.
-
If your alert setup has so many ORs then you probably get flooded by alerts. Try to limit conditions to exact DOWN or CRITICAL situation to be worth of alerting.
-
My idea is maybe not so smart but Custom Property for interfaces would allow to point to specific interfaces you need. Cheers, Jaroslaw

I'd suggest to restart all Orion services together with NetPerfMon website. If will not help run Config Wizard.

I'm afraid that the only one solution for that is to create custom SWQL/SQL query for Custom Widget on a view.
