Yes, please post the results of that ticket. It has been cumbersome at best for us to configure alert suppressions. This would be a huge help.

We tried something similier, SNMP Informant I think. The disappointing part of it was that the MIBs were included in Solarwinds, but anything meaningful always seemed to be in a table, which Solarwinds can't read.

We are seeing this on some of our assigned nodes to custom MIBs. A few of them are collecting data while a few others show no data. Tests done are all successful.

Can you post the file and where in the resource file you put the code to create the rollover action? Also where did you put the .js files? Sorry kinda new to this tweaking stuff.

Have the same issue. I have submitted a case this morning. I also noticed that the example text is gone in the account limitations builder. There used to be a few small examples of wildcards, etc when you went to put in your string of nodes, IP's etc.

Nice function! I'm trying this out and have a question. It looks like the code is selecting how many nodes are down but in the text it states 'Number of Sites Down'. Should that say Nodes instead? Or is there some way to define a site?

Has the demo been updated? I was trying to evaluate the netflow part of the toolset and getting the errors that seem to be fixed in this release.

We did get the application alerting and it seems to work just fine; but not having the ability to alert someone that a service is down is a pretty big negative. At this point is is pretty much just for logging if an application goes up or down.

I can tell you that they have a netflow reader coming out in beta in about 60 days. It sounds like it will be another add-on though and not part of the main product. I think we are also going to wait to buy maintenance until v8 comes out to see if that increases functionality. If all new functionality is going to have to…
