You might want to install the SDK, then you can see what you can safely alter/read/update in Solarwinds. Start the SWQL Studio and check. I usually use Powershell Scripts to extract/ingest Data from/to Solarwinds. Most of the CMDB relevant Data should be be in Orion.Nodes If you need more Info, just ask

I'd also look into SWQL, it is pretty similar to SQL but with some Solarwinds touch to it. I personally think it is best to go with SWQL as more and more modification and tweaking of the database will happen. Sometimes Tables and views change for performance reasons and your old scripts stop working after an upgrade.

Had a similar issue, I created a new custom property for the recipients (like silverbacksays​ mentioned on the node level) that had no underscores in it. It worked with that CP. Don't know if that is your case here as well but worth a try. Cheers, Holger

There are "Top10 Widgets" you can add to your view, and you can filter the views based on Properties.

What you want is called a "View" in solarwinds. you can configure those the way you need them.

From your latest response, do you want to update the Firmware of the switches? There is an option to do this directly. is this something that helps you?
