Bump. IPAM is useless for me right now.
-
ding, I would like similar functionality to what we see with PRIs today in VNQM. Utilization, amount of calls in progress, charts showing calls over time. Stuff like that.
-
Awesome! I didn't know that setting existed. Unchecked the box and I am good to go. Thanks again!

Replied too soon. After login, I get: System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.Data.DuplicateNameException: A column named '9/18/2008' already belongs to this DataTable. at System.Data.DataColumnCollection.RegisterColumnName(String name, DataColumn…

Thanks for the posts! I'll stay tuned for future versions

Just to clarify, removing the L2/L3 topology from discovery did actually resolve the issue. I don't use that feature, so its not an issue for me.

I've got about 135 subnets, so almost 300 scopes between the two servers. I think for now I'll just remove the DHCP servers from IPAM and manually enter my subnets until this functionality is improved. Not ideal, but for now it will work to monitor the IPs I need it to.

Yep. Case #99162
-
Well I have some not very technical people that have access to check IP address details on a read only basis. I have a few custom columns defined that don't show up unless you specify it. I guess I'll just put in the how-to doc some steps to show those custom columns. I just wanted to check to make sure there wasn't a way…

I have case #292499 open for this. All my services are running fine.
-
Yes, but if we wanted to edit to from the console is there still a way? Or is it web only now?

The permissions for that account are full control for all files in the maps folder. I've tried rebooting, restarting services, upgrading to 9.0 and still nothing. Sometimes this can happen if the SOLARWINDS_WEBSITE local user account doesn't have permission to read the background image file for the map. Generally this…

Yeah I tried to see if there was a way, but couldn't figure it out. Maybe this can be added to a feature request list?
-
Well that was my point. That post says it was updated roughly 1.5 years ago. Glacial pace considering these are some much needed features.
-
I should have searched the KB first....lol support.solarwinds.com/.../ProblemDetail.cfm fixed my problem.
-
I didn't have the firewall running on the symantec client. I added all Solarwinds folders and services to the exclusion list for active scanning, but still had high ping response times. So then I updated the Symantec Endpoint Client from version 11.0.4000 to 11.0.4202 and this has fixed the issue. Must have been a bug in…

I have a support case open as well. I figured I wasn't the only one with the issue. Thanks for the reply!
-
Thanks, the permission was missing on the TEMP dir
-
I removed the L2/L3 topology from one of the devices and did a rediscovery and got the same results.
-
I've tried Auto, SSH1 and SSH2 with the same results. I know that the switches use SSH2 though.
-
Support sent me something they call a "buddy drop" that replaced some DLLs and it seems to have partially fixed my issue. I can scan DHCP servers from my main poller now, but my additional poller is now saying the credential test failed to execute.
-
00152237 is the case. Have had no DHCP functionality now for a month, so IPAM is basically useless to me right now. Would appreciate any help.
-
sure
-
Desperate for SIP trunk monitoring still :/
-
Still looking for this
-
They just released a hotfix that addresses this. http://downloads.solarwinds.com/solarwinds/Release/HotFix/OrionPlatform-2015.1-HotFix4.zip
-
Sorry this is for NPM 11.5
-
I also created a post in the feature request forum:
-
I went thru the steps at http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/2385/Managing+Duplicate+Subnets+in+IPAM and it didn't work. Still creates two subnets.

bump...this is frustrating
