Hello Florian, I would suggest to open a support case for this. You may need to do an uninstall/reinstall of the ARM software. RabbitMQ is installed as part of this, so it may help to correct the issue.

Hi Matt, it looks like they are sending it to Sales, they should contact you soon. You don't have an ARM license yet, so that's why it wouldn't come to me in support.
-
Either way will work. If you have access to the Customer Portal you'll get through the support system faster. If you give me the case number you are assigned, I can pick up the case directly.
-
Unsure at this point. If you are a current SW customer, I would either reach out to your CS/Sales rep if you are still in the onboarding process, or create a support case via support. www.solarwinds.com/.../contact-us I'd be the one getting your case, but gotta go through the official channels!

Is the computer just a workgroup computer? The ARM server needs to be connected to a domain in order to function properly. Also if you are using a service account, ensure the account is listed in the local admin group on the ARM server as the account, not just a member of a group (i.e. domain admins).
-
change the port to 55580 and it should work. The documentation needs to be updated to add information about the port. The main port for ARM is 55555, but 55580 is used for the ARM Configuration Wizard only.
-
Did you go through the Configuration Wizard? documentation.solarwinds.com/.../arm-gsg-basic-configuration.htm The first account you input is the user that installed ARM, the 2nd can be the same account or a service account set up for ARM. You can also try logging into the ARM Configuration application, and set the Basic…

The Group Memberships changed alert will provide the function you need. This will alert on any group membership change, including when you add a new user, because group memberships are touched in the user creation process.
-
Yes you can set up alerts for this, and enable a script to be run as part of the alert being triggered documentation.solarwinds.com/.../set-alerts-for-user-accounts.htm
-
You cannot add more roles currently. You can modify the names of existing roles, as well as the permissions. documentation.solarwinds.com/.../define-arm-user-roles.htm We have asked for more flexibility in this area, so it may be improved in future versions of ARM.

I'm glad to help, this is why they pay me the big $$$ !

Hello Marcus, Does your ARM service account have full access to the UNC path? Once you input the path, ARM should start moving the scan archive files to the new location. You could also test to be sure the UNC path is available from your ARM server by connecting to it via the Windows File Explorer. You should ask for your…

You need to install the FS Logga component manually on the Collector server using the ARM setup installer. You will see the additional option available when doing the custom installation below the ARM Collector itself (2nd image in linked document): documentation.solarwinds.com/.../install-additional-collectors.htm

I'd suggest opening a support ticket so we can help directly.
-
Hello, You can reset it on your SQL server, and then update in ARM in the ARM Configuration application > Basic Configuration or by running the ARM Configuration Wizard again.
-
I'm unsure on this process, it's not something I've worked with yet. You may want to open a support case and we can work on it with you.
-
Hello. I'm unsure on the first question. You'd need to edit user(s), and add them to groups, instead of selecting the groups and adding user(s). For the second, check the permissions on the account used for Exchange scans:…

Hello, Happy Monday! I believe in both instances, it would be a Feature Request. Even if you create a report with no events, ARM will still generate a 1-page report. Currently, you cannot create a custom alert other than what is given for a particular resource. AD alerts only have the three options of Account Locked, Group…

Not a problem

This support article should help you adjust the timing. The default is 15 minutes. support.solarwinds.com/.../How-to-disable-the-session The first line is for the main ARM application, the second is for the ARM Configuration application.
-
What browser are you using?
-
What URL are you using? FQDN or just the server hostname, or? Verify your web settings in the ARM - Web Configuration (start menu > Solarwinds > ARM-Web Configuration (green icon).
-
Check to see that the ARM-Service service is running.
-
Have you tried removing all custom templates from the template directory to see if they are removed from the list? Just trying to think of other ways to solve this.
-
Hello. I tried to replicate this in my lab, but was unable to duplicate. What version of ARM are you using? Have you tried restarting the ARM-service?
-
Hello jerdzi. There are additional template samples in the C:\ProgramData\protected-networks.com\8MAN\data\templates\master folder, I believe there are AzureAD related samples there.

I tested a schedule report and it behaves as you have seen, a file is saved with no file format in the Views & Reports location. I think this needs to go as a Feature Request for ARM at this point. I will check into this more when I have the time.
-
If you don't define a custom storage path when creating the report, and you hit 'cancel' after generating the report, the generated report is stored in the location defined in Views & Reports. So in the case of scheduled reports, if you don't define a path when creating the report, it will send them to the Views & Reports…
-
Hello Mats, You can set the saved reports location in the ARM - Configuration application easily. ARM - Configuration > Views & Reports. The first item in this view is the location of where the ARM Server stores generated reports.
