Custom field or SNMP location data sounds like the way forward. I know a great JSON person. I feared this wouldn't be simple as the request "lets get w3w to do it"...

Thanks for your suggestions, this will be very useful. It will be for UK stations around the country.

I enabled HTTP From Cli and then in " API protocol Schema:" section select HTTP. and it worked.

I have this exact same issue, but after upgrading to NPM 2020.2.5. We have a firewall appliance with 72 logical CPU cores. The top 10 CPUs chart shows the first 9 CPUs, but with the 63 remaining CPUs showing as an aggregate total (for us, that's 700-800%), which completely obscures the useful data on the chart. The only…

When I say snap to object I just mean you can assign icons and a title to a rectangle with nice rounded egdes and they all stay with that rectangle. The rectangles often don't line up and I spend ages trying to make them fit nicely together on the screen it often ends up looking like a game of dominos. I would be happy…

Here is the solution, tested and it works. support.solarwinds.com/.../Enable-SSL-support-for-Kiwi-Web-Access

I never really liked the align feature in network atlas it used to cause me headaches when it auto aligned things I didn't want to be auto aligned. 9/10 times I'd have to manually align things. I like the new Orion maps because I can hold down the shift key and select the nodes I want to select and then drag them out of…

I as well have this very same problem as MD.J describes. I am running on Server 2019 an evaluation instance of Kiwi Syslog Server, which is working. I note in the documentation that Server 2012 is listed, but I hope running such an old OS is not required. Anyone find an answer to this problem?

If you edit the custom html resource it asks you for the location of the HTML file to display in the resource. So copy and paste the location of the script html output into this resource and this should allow you to display your script output.

It might be better to add the report to the Web Console rather than displaying the HTML page. There are a few different ways of approaching displaying this kind of information. support.solarwinds.com/.../Add-a-report-to-the-Orion-Web-Console-in-a-resource

Yes there is... You can add a custom html address to any view. So just add the custom HTML and then point it towards your html file and this should do it.

E-Mail the MIB to customerservice@solarwinds.com along with your SWID. Or alternatively create a support case and follow the instructions here : support.solarwinds.com/.../Upload-MIB-in-Orion-Universal-Device-Poller

I would like an answer to this as well please. We are no longer compliant when using SHA1, so moving to another platform will be in our very near future if we can't get NPM with SHA2 (SHA-256).

Hi, I'm still looking into combining the maximum bps in and out of two interfaces before extracting the 95th percentile of that. Here's the current code. It is erronerous. DECLARE @StartDate DateTime DECLARE @EndDate DateTime SET @StartDate = ${FromTime} SET @EndDate = ${ToTime} SELECT TOP 1 @StartDate AS Start_Date,…

Here's an example of how we handle it - you get to practice your conversion to Bytes....

Love the fancy icons. I use a web resource called flaticon for free icons to represent a lot of the services on my dashboards.
-
To make this more clear, I would hope SolarWinds would provide the link back to the platform notes then so it looks complete.
-
Hmmm. I guess that would be a "no".
-
Thank you!! That appears to be working!

Thank you for responding, Stuart. No, it is not part of an HA pair. However, as of yesterday morning, the red dot is gone again. So far, it is still green. I don't know why it's behaving this way, but I am hopeful that it stays green or identifies the hardware component at issue if it decides to turn red again.

I tried uninstalling it again. Used Wise Registry Cleaner and Malwarebytes Premium to check & remove stuff. Deleted every bits of leftovers I could find. Searching the disk thereafter, only showed these files being left: I also used RegEdit and deleted everything with the name SolrarWinds in it. Rebooting machine. While…

There are three vulnerabilities mentioned. I am personally interested in the first vulnerability mentioned in this article. The last two, not as much.

Update on this: I added a condition to the "High Subnet Usage Monitoring" alert for CIDR < 30. That will at least prevent the alerts from firing constantly. This doesn't resolve the issue of the IPAM dashboard showing all the /30 and /32's with red ! "critical" icons.

Nobody willing to take a stabby at it?

Is this a Windows 10 problem, or a Solarwinds uninstaller problem? P-T

We can help if you get stuck with anything. Message me and I'll do my best to help you. Support do struggle when global pandemics hit. We are struggling too. Hopefully this hack will be resolved quickly and then we can all get back to concentrating on providing some kick ass monitoring rather than worrying about cozy bears.

Append your command with | Out-GridView and you can then expand those columns if needed on the GUI output.

I'm sure the CEO is at least 50 something I hear. Possibly he is moving on to other things I'm not sure, or maybe retirement beckons? Especially when you have had a successful career. I've seen more shifting and moving about with shares and CEO's than ever before during this pandemic. It's a tumultuous time when people are…

Also here to provide feedback on this issue. Would like to see SolarWinds address this. https://access.redhat.com/solutions/4460971
