that is the archive file you have to unzip the archive first, download 7zip or something , then you'll see the list of files which you can edit with notepad. :)
-
You can still edit the MIB's in notepad if you need to.
-
I used the latest MIB 11.80 for Windows. It gives you lots of MIB's to choose from. So you need to know which MIB's you need to get the metrics you want.
-
I've just spoken to HP for some of my kit and they said these MIB's should do the job for Nonstop server too. https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c04272529 @acmtix Adam

Have you made sure the limitation is applied to both views? It might be only applying to one of the views. You will notice the left navigation views have different view ID's.

Apologies for the late reply. Thank you everyone for what the issues is and a work a round. Greatly appreciated.

Any idea why ?

and our solarwinds actually crashes from it

This is how it looks now: SELECT TOP 10 let.name AS [Message Type] ,Level AS [Severity] ,nod.Caption AS [Node] ,TOLOCAL(DateTime) AS [Log Time] ,SUBSTRING(Message,1,100) AS Message ,CONCAT('(server)/','/.../syslog') AS _linkfor_Message FROM Orion.OLM.LogEntry le JOIN Orion.OLM.LogEntryType let ON le.LogEntryTypeID =…

Is it possible to add, that it only shows syslogs for the last hour?
-
Yes, I am.
-
Thanks Marc, this worked for me too. I am not sure why I decided to use two sections.
-
Thanks Marc. I'll try that in a bit and see if it works for me. I'm not sure why it didn't work all in one section.
-
Of course... The military love my code names.

Sorry for opening an old thread, but this is still happening today. I just downloaded the latest copy and installed it. SolarPutty opens with all the Putty sessions showing as blocks on the screen and no matter which session I choose to open, a separate Putty window opens which is completely separate from SolarPutty.…

This is where a customer blames SolarWinds for the SNMP data it receives from the different hardware manufacturers. I've had this too. It is hard to make them understand that different vendors handle reboot/uptime SNMP data differently. No easy solution except finding a compromise by accepting the data output for either…

Almost a month now since this issue was logged and no working fix. Time to drop Solarwinds products from my estate I think. Its quite interesting that on another thread from six years ago someone said: "This is the frustrating part about SolarWinds. We pay for premium products at a steep price because they are the tools we…

I've just successfully created a new intake of 85 users using that template. There's a helpful list of all the attributes here: dovestones.com/.../

I decided to use the trial version of Dovestones AD Bulk Users. You're limited to creating ten users at one, so its just a case of splitting your CSV files into blocks of ten users. dovestones.com/.../
-
If you've updated the program, does an updated version need to be uploaded to your site? Or does the existing program contact Solarwinds when it opens which then redirects to adbutler?
-
Nope, absolutely no change. Have uninstalled old version, rebooted and downloaded again but is still the same.

Good news, from Solarwinds: "I have escalated and having it reviewed. Debra Ondrusek | Senior Manager, Customer Service | SolarWinds Success Center | SolarWinds Academy | THWACK®"
-
I've sent Solarwinds another email, asking if they can check. They claim that their tech people monitor the site, but if they did I would have expected some response to rbdisd's original post. In the meantime you might want to consider Dovestones AD Bulk Users. The trial lets you import ten users at a time.…

Hi, I'm also having this problem. Tried to message Solarwinds about it but they just passed me to here. I've dropped an email to the AdButler company, to see if they can do anything at their end.

So after a bit more testing and searching (and losing many nerves), i think i finally found the mistake. @"KMSigma.SWI" gave me the hintch to look for a differenc between a mute setting over the dashboard an a mute creating over the automation. On the webdashboard it looks the same, but in the orion database was a…

The validate runs with following url: "https://solarwinds-url.com:17778/SolarWinds/InformationService/v3/Json/Invoke/Orion.AlertSuppression/GetAlertSuppressionState"

After muting the node, we validate the mute state with another call. Here we get following things back. For me it's looking fine...

For me it looks the same The first one on 6/20/2022 11:08:37 was the automation and the newer one 6/27/2022 3:38:08 was myself with an admin account.
