@psailor, CLI does not need to run at the back-end with new protocols. There is no need for APIs. The newer NETCONF YANG models can program the network directly without needing any back end CLI sessions.

I agree. The reports in WHD would add much more value if you could generate reports that included details about the tickets. For example: Run a report that shows all tickets with a specified alert level. We are in the same situation, I've got a lot of modules on our platform and would like to see the this in production. However I'm concerned about the upgrade process and for the number of modules that we'll need to install at the same time.

I'm not ashamed to say that I resorted to guessing and it was only after I randomly guessed the word that I figured out how to actually find that word on the page.
