Hey Vinay BY, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Now it should work properly. Anyway, we only take into consideration the first response submitted by the users.

I've just started working with WHD and was asked to do a workflow ticket generator based on meeting needs and this sounds like what I need to get it working. If client checks food and computer/projector in their meeting needs, send one ticket to the tech and one ticket to food service and one ticket to schedulers to book…

Currently, if a SQL has N threads (say 10), 9 of them could be waiting on 1 doing I/O for instance. The total weight of the query is the sum of the weight types, meaning CXPacket will show up as the dominant wait. This is a benign weight type as those threads are not consuming much resource while waiting on their brother…

I think I just said the same thing above four times... I need coffee.

Very common sense, I agree. Infrastructure Optimization strategy is often no even used any more. Identifying the manner in which your environment is reactive and identify the steps to get to a proactive environment. We too many times forget that the client just needs to print.

Am I the only one for whom the dodgy grammar in the questions poses a problem figuring out the right word to fill the blanks?

Mine is a simple one - one of my responsibilities is backup/restore. I'm hoping to NOT see the following type of request any more: "I lost one of my files. It's a spreadsheet, but I can't remember what it was named or where it was located. If it's any help, it has colored tabs at the bottom"

On a related note, I would also like to see speed and duplex of port.

I got today's question wrong but that's okay. Sometimes I learn more when I get things wrong. Humility is important I find. Have a great weekend everyone.

That feeling when you lose a life so you just say, 'Eff it!" and start trying words to see what fits.

I think UDT being able to use DHCP mac address information that IPAM can get from the supported DHCP servers would do the trick.

All sounds great but when do we get the THWACK store back ?

And make it remember the authentication method without having to save it locally.

Just joined this website specifically for this issue to see if it was possible, but I guess it's not yet. Closed should mean it's closed forever.

The comparison criteria regular expressions should be changed to POSIX regex processing. This would be a huge plus for consistency and allowing downloads of configs based on changes to work as intended. I have built some complex regex's that tend to break things more than exclude due to the inconsistency.

I just sent you a DM.

pseudocyber, don't worry, those who got it wrong will be able to try again.

My experience is that no one vendor or suite of tools does everything the way we want it. We use SolarWinds extensively as our primary EMS but I still much prefer good old MRTG for basic traffic and availability graphing. Much as I love SolarWinds, I don't care for it's graphing.
