This is odd. It shouldn't be case sensitive. There is a logic behind the questions, which accepts both caps and lower cases. Sorry to hear you had issues with that.

It's always the firewall's fault. See this Dilbert comic for reference: http://dilbert.com/strips/comic/2013-04-07 If the firewall can't be blamed, then it's the network's fault. After all, the network arbitrarily breaks applications at random. The RCA meeting is for everyone to defend their area of responsibility, or…

The answer is also in the last sentence above the download link. You don't have to download it to know.

This would be super helpful! I had to do a lot of work to get a separate local user account created (outside of my organization's SSO) with requester permissions so that I can get around this to see what the portal looks like to our end users.

I know you guys are really eager to find out who won the (as you already figure it out by now) Annual Premium ITProTV subscription, so here it goes: the lucky winner is ... jphenix. Congrats! I still have another small piece of good news for you, which is the weekly winner for the last week of the mission, but I will tell…

shuth, you are still a winner because you correctly guessed the free tools who made it to the next round. And we're glad you are still participating, even if you are not (yet) eligible to win a prize.

Guys, I am not against the CLI. CLI may work for emergencies....The changing times demand new , better and flexible tools....CLI just cannot take us to the programmable age of SDN and NFV. It just wont work. We need to be open to the new ideas.

Jfrazier, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I do not like bacon (waiting for stuff to be virtually thrown at me). However, you know what they say, if you cannot fight them, join them . And for those who forgot the topic of this thread, let me remind you that you still have time to answer this week's questions for a chance…

Although they can use the new integrated search and type "SQL" to see them all, they cannot take any action such as Mute or Unmanage. If they could have the old style manage nodes view, without the…

I'm going to have to agree here. We were already using IPAM, but deployed UDT at the beginning of this year. By far the most useful thing I've deployed in quite a while.

So, regarding the answers for Q1 this week, I did a little bit of editing, to make sure you guys don't get confused when reading the hint, but the main idea behind the answer is the same, and the correct answer stays the same.

How can this be marked as implemented. Snapshotting a VM / Database is not the same as having a feature in a product.

I too would like to be able to see the SWQL behind the reports. Sure hope this is forthcoming in vnext. I too, still prefer building reports through the Report Writer.

Now I want some hummus to go with all that pita!

We'll be right back after a short break!

+1 for SNMP location integration. Satellite view would be a nice addition as well.
-
I think that SW should start to investigate an Elastic Search type integration for longer term data retention and trending.
