Yes yesterdays question was the Scrooge of questions, impossible to please, vague and incomplete. Bah humbug!
-
Hey RichardLetts, Are you talking about his one Orion SDK ?
-
I would like to see this too.
-
mark.healey, clear your cookies and give it another try.
-
Not sure I like Day 16's question... You can proceed but should you proceed with any of these options? They all seem like bad options to me.
-
i suggest you add this as a side event to Cisco live that why we travel once maybe hold it on the sat sun before /after CL your staff already attend that show
-
I too resubmitted just in case. Wouldn't want to miss out.
-
abynum, yes, the fill-in-the-blanks questions work like that. You can answer them as many times as you want, as opposed to the multiple choice one. If you already answered it, then you're fine.
-
Same issue for me!
-
i hard code all my ports now Cisco is telling me I should use auto auto port config why only auto auto enables auto auto mdx, ie straight or cross cables can be use and the switch will determine which one you have with hard coded, you must use the right cable type to bad there is a command to turn on auto mdx

I did wanted to say that grammar matters for this one.
-
shartz, that competition has ended already.

With what they charge for insurance and what little they have to pay on the dollar amount of the bill, I would expect nothing less. More suits lining their pockets with the money and identity of the customers.

Quick update: since we just came back from a site upgrade, awarding points works quite slow, so I'm postponing it for Monday. I'll update this thread to let you know when this is done. Have a great weekend everyone!

Windows 10 new for user and looking nice with effective tech.

Hi guys, We're implementing scheduled nDepth searches in the next version of LEM, which should be available as an RC early next week. If any of you are available to install the upgrade early next week and want first dibs on the RC, please let me know. The only caveat is that you'll need to upgrade to v5.6 (current version)…
-
Glad to hear that. And I totally support the thwackCamp binge watching .
-
maria.bungau has anyone looked at the broken link for the hint on Day 15? We know how to fix it, but I wanted to make sure the god of Thwack were truly aware of the issue.
-
Replying to myself, but if anyone who has voted on this feature who didn't already get a notification from me (and is under maintenance, and on v5.6) is interested in trying out aforementioned release candidate early next week, let me know. Otherwise, I'll post back when it's available. I'll leave this request open no…
-
Sorry, you are correct. I think we need more votes on this feature request, otherwise the proposed "workarounds" are all we are stuck with for the time being. All I was suggesting was a workaround until this is added to the WHD feature roadmap.
-
Hello fellow thwacksters, Just wanted to let you know that points have been added to your profiles for each correctly answered question. If you notice that some points are missing though, feel free to send me a message.
-
I too suppose I'll comment here based on my answer of "Other". I own so many SW products that I feel like an #itjedi most days. Security is my largest gap I think. I am working on better tweaking the LEM to really tell me more about traffic and vendor holes and such, but if I had a super power it would be to know all…
-
What if, on the same switch, I expect 60% utilization on one interface but only 5% on another.... Is there a way to handle this? It seems natural to expect a Monitoring Tool to easily allow you to set thresholds on a per object basis, simply and eloquently.
-
To me this would be a double edge sword. This is based on the question I would ask - do the security teams, HR and others need this data? The answer depends on your / their environment. If your company is a bank or retail, medical ect then I would think forensically this information would be invaluable in tracking down…
-
Thank you, it's always nice to receive this kind of feedback from the community!
-
Sounds wonderful, but please tell me that will have full coverage in the SDK from day 1! In the modern age if a feature like this that does not have great API coverage and still depends on human time, we'll very likely just need to find another way of automating the upgrades.
-
I forgot to mention that another team uses Splunk (also expensive) in a limited capacity only for security log monitoring.

*singing* Ba da, Ba da da da. Monday, Monday . . .

I enjoyed the post. I try to keep up to date and try to learn as much as I can. Thwack is a great learning tool. It is easier for me to learn by seeing and doing than just reading. Teaching and sharing information with coworkers and blogs is really the way keep up to date, there is just too much to read out there
