The question is back. There were some changes made in the demo after the mission was launched, and this might have cause a bit of confusion. For those who got a 100% score, we got your answer. You don't need to answer again. Those of you who got 66% because of the Q1 answer which you thought was right, but was rejected,…

I too see GNS3 as a great tool. I haven't had near the time I wish I could have with it yet. I'm disappointed in what appears to be a limited number of supported router platforms by cisco, but I still look forward to messing with it more once my audit is over.

I too have ranged all over in the course of my career and even before as a novelist. Now I tend to be more administration as I've elevated and taken on job responsibilities. I have had to be come more of a cybersecurity specialist, but haven't we all. My heart still lies in networking. If I were a specialist, that is where…

We are looking at taking the first step here and doing some statistical analysis, rather than just the element counts you see today. We might have more questions for people interested in this functionality as we start diving into that.

Why not just run an update SQL query? For example: UPDATE [SolarWindsOrion].[dbo].[Nodes] SET [Vendor]='Personal PC' WHERE [Caption]='192.168.150.7';

I'm trying to register a mulit-tenant 12c CDB/PDB 2-node Exadata RAC database in DPA 10.1. It doesn't look like the example above. Is there a document for how to do this properly? Also, this database was previously an 11gR2 RAC. Is there a way to retain the DPA performance history? Please point me in the right direction.…

Agreed - a simple no would suffice. Makes the feature request farcical where there are features which are implemented which have sub 100 votes yet FR with higher votes don't attract the courtesy of a response from SW. Miron

-
This should have appeared on the results page, once you answered the question.
-
submitted ticket 783335 about this. according to support IPAM events are not mixed in to regular events "by design" whoever is making design decisions over there at solarwinds needs some common sense knocked into them.

No worries, Rhys, feel free to join us over on the Log & Event Manager thwack space if we can be of direct assistance. There's some other folks there that have also worked with LEM for PCI, too.
