That file was not found anywhere on my machine. Gabor

It's that time of the week when we announce the winner, so here it goes. The third True Depth 3D virtual reality headset is going to hippieboy9. Congrats!

contactjt you thinking about custom properties on operations? I was looking for a way to map the target of an operation being down in our ticket system via an alert instead of the node running the operation. End up using the description for the operation which is not great, but will hopefully do the job.

hello any response about documentation for NOC view?

I would like to see more pictures of old, un-groomed men taking selfies of themselves with their SolarWinds swag. I am working on a picture of myself riding a pink killer whale noodle in the pool. ETA, 1 week. I love me some me.

scott.chille@corvallis-clinic.com, there was an issue with the configuration of this mission, which was fixed on April 13th, most probably after you finished it. I went ahead and added the difference of 1,000 points to your account.

Day 7 took me a bit. I wasn't seeing the forest for the trees. I was making that one WAY more difficult that it should have been.
-
We should have added a disclaimer: please keep away drinks and food while watching the videos.

All good, selected the right answer from the video. Was just autopilot this morning and selected what yesterday was the right answer. Worked this time for the REAL correct answer. THANKS!

Hey pzjones, Points will be applied to profiles once the mission has closed.

Configs still have inconsistent end of line characters being stored, you cannot actually use $ after a character to define end of line due to this. As well, rules break due to it too.

We have ten qnaps (TS-1679U-RP :: QNAP ) that are all sam monitored currently, but would be good to have a specific template for them.

Hi rob.hock Is it looking like volume thresholds likely to hit 10.7 GA? We are using the thresholds for CPU, Memory, packet loss and response time and it's looking very good and we would very to use these for setting up new volume alerts without the need to create custom properties. Jon. Update: I see NPM 10.7 has gone GA…

This is magic!

Your comment has been tracked, a drone will shortly be sent to your position for compliance.

I have the same issue. In mid change of naming convention and no way to automatically update maps.

Yes we are in the same boat as the two of you. One of our teams were using this product on the old BES system and as part as our BES 10/z10 rollout I was evaluating deploying mobile admin to all IT staff. Looks like we will have to find something else

Don't mean to sound nitpicky, but the links in the What's New section result in a "Oops! This Page Doesn't Exist!". Trying to get the Exchange AppInsight rolling. Even on the assign application monitor page it says: Before you can assign this template to an Exchange server, you need to configure the Exchange server…

Also, VMAN should be able to alert of virtual disk space. This is only available using a custom query as documented here: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Need-to-find-proper-way-to-alert-on-individual-Virtual-Machine-component-volume-space-utilization Instead, this should be an out-of-box alert.

My question is the execution of this? Do you intend to have it simply overwrite the running config with a regex substituted config? I think there are certain things that should be left to fully functional programming languages, this would be one of them.

we are missing the summer intern to key in the custom properties for all 6000 nodes. we are using dynamic queries to automatically form our groups and hate custom (manual) properties.

AndyAlo, clear you cookies and try again.

yes its true.....

Hello everyone. It appears this new feature only supports cisco devices. Our VOIP gateways are currently not cisco devices, however all the routers used on our network are. By just having the routers monitored by Solarwinds, would this new feature be able to pull all the required statistics from the VOIP traffic going…

Another example where defense in depth is important, too. Presumably malware will also happily traverse the internet encrypted during delivery, but can still wreak havoc once it hits endpoints. If you imagine your network without a perimeter, all traffic encrypted, how do you protect the soft chewy center?

That is too AWESOME!!!

Yes, more granular Asset permissions (both fields on an asset and populations of assets) would be appreciated.

R-E-L-I-E-F? Edit: Ah, I get it now. Besides what you've mentioned with being proactive, there are a few things I've learned that help quite a bit. Most importantly is the care and feeding of your monitoring system. Sure, you can set up a new system that has 1,000 bells and whistles, but is the data provided valid? Does…

I would like to see more browsers and operating systems supported by the Player, not just mobile but PC and Mac as well. I would like to be able to deploy the Player to different operating systems and device types, and see more Location information recorded along with the Transaction: - OS version - Browser user-agent…

Already done and the same with my idea for having an option to show whitespace and end of line characters.
