The current shipping version is 8.1. Support's first recommendation is likely to be upgrade. If your problem still exists after upgrade, it's easier to troubleshoot, and if there's a bug, we are better able to fix it. We are no longer providing hotfixes for 7.8.

Hey bradk, Is this what you are looking for:Printer Ink, Paper, Error Reporting? ?
-
Hotfix 3 addresses this problem.

We experienced the same problem too. You say you have dual polling engines. The redundant polling engine comes with a copy of System Manager. You should not use the redundant poller System Manager to add/delete/update Nodes/Interfaces/Volumes. We discovered if both SMs were in use at the same time to update the database…

Oh Yes. Alot of people had issues going from 8.1 to 8.5 due to alot of changes to the web back end. I had the exact same problem. Contact support they are very familiar with these issues now and should be able to walk you through resolving most of the bugs.

We don't support the Windows mobile browser. Some mobile browsers work pretty well (e.g., Safari on the iphone), but Windows Mobile is too different from IE or anything else.
-
Where are you having problems? You have the OIDs, so if you enter an OID, then assign that polelr to the correct device, what happens?

I upgraded from 6.2 to 6.3 a week ago and the only Agent that had issues was my DC (virtual Server 2012 R2). It hung and I ultimately had to attempt shutdown and then had to power it off from VMware to resolve the issue. Today I noticed FIM not running on it and started FIM fine, but then lost ability to use my Explorer…

I've added it to our database. We'll consider it.
-
Could you post a screenshot? The menus are moveable (like Outlook pre-2007) and you can sometimes accidentally move them.
-
Well, it isn't possible at the version 4.9 level. I have submitted a feature request. Please up-vote it: ("https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/11405")

II have same problem. are some way to import the nodes? there is some answer to this question?
-
The "Audit" permission is basically just flagging that any access (or changes, if allowed) by that user will be audited with InternalAuditSuccess (or rarely, Failure) events in LEM. Modify / Access are the actual "permissions" that dictate whether a change can be made. Here's the role summary from the user guide: *…

We have NPM, SAM, Virtual Infrastructure Monitor (unlimited nodes) on the same host, with the DB on a second server. The DB also provides database services for NCM and IP Address tracker. We ordered a second poller because we are running at 110%--we brought it down from 140% because of odd issues. It runs fine otherwise. I…

We *just* had that problem: 403 no matter what we CURLed from the server. We bounced the winbox hosting it, to fix another issue, and it just came up. In our case, it was the standard Windows solution, but if you haven't tried it, just bounce the thing overnight and test it again. Intermittent problems fixed by a bounce?…

We need this. A configuration policy evaluator (e.g. for FISMA) won't get your network C&A if you do not have surrounding control and audit procedures for the NMS/OAM system.

version 10.1.313.0
-
Yes I do at the moment.
-
Rebooted both my polling servers and this had no effect on the alerts, they are still not present.
-
I ran configuration wizard but have not tried a reboot. Will try that now and let you know what happens.
-
I am experiencing the same problem... my active alerts window is empty and i'm not getting any alerts via email. I am running Orion Platform 2016.1.5300, WPM 2.2.1, IPAM 4.3.1, DPA 10.0.1, QoE 2.1.0, IVIM 2.1.2, SAM 6.2.4
-
It's on the list.
-
From your description, it's not obvious why your monitor isn't working. I would strongly urge you to open a Support ticket.
-
In APM 3.0, you can unmanage applications. Have you upgraded yet?
-
Can you provide more details on this request? It's already a wizard, but obviously, it leaves you wanting. And "easier to customize" usually competes against "wizard". Wizards provide ease of use by limiting options. And what does are you thinking about when you say you want to tie it into adding an application? What…

We're working on something like this now.
-
Thanks everyone! This is really helpful.
-
We do support the latest version of net-snmp.
-
I'll check it out.. Thanks!

I can tell you we haven't tested against anything other than Active Directory, which means there COULD be some identifiers that we're looking for that aren't configurable and are unique for AD, or were the best choice for AD that might not be the best choice for the rest of the known LDAP universe. The implementation,…
