 As a matter of fact, we are planning to do exactly what you describe. Orion 9 will introduce a web interface for adding and deleting nodes. We're also setting up the infrastructure so that each new module can leverage this web-based interface.

You can also use the EE toolset "MIB Browser" to find the if index. Use MIB "IF-MIB:ifXTABLE" (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1) to view the info for your router/switch. It will give you the index correlation to the slot/port.

This is a feature request.

Try adding all the pollers you want to show into the same group name. Edit the cusom poller and just type in the group box. I've done this and when I add the custom poller status to my web views, it shows everything in the group.

I checked with Development, and our internal limit is 100 characters.
