kevincrouch4, it's usually 100+ participants in the final drawing. But the number is increasing with every mission.

@"Radioteacher" that is an amazing photograph! Beautiful animal. @"KMSigma.SWI" luckily I have my own dedicated outdoor work space. If I had been stuck in the house trying to work I couldn't have carried on working. Its nice to be able to pop in for a coffee and know that my laptop is safe away from childrens fingers.…

That's great! We're trying to make these missions as useful and instructive as possible so that everyone gets something out of them.
-
I know, and I figured out a way to fix it. That's why I'm closing it for a couple of minutes.
-
Jfrazier Did you finally manage to answer the question? It should be working now.

Great post mbleib I especially like your reference to the importance of humility. I have only been working in IT for about 3.5 years, and have already encountered people who could learn a great deal from this. There is no merit in belittling someone else's knowledge, so why do it? Looking forward to your next post!

Thanks Dallas. Do you think the mass registrations you saw in the Beta could be a work around for this?
-
vjerez4129, she too is such a benevolent Thwack goddess. We thank them all! Those like mrs.alterego and DanielleH make our Thwack world run so smoothly.

The snap to grid is difficult to work with. The icons are 1990's style and I would like to see templates for different kinds of network atlas maps, a lot of what we do is mapping out services from application, through to database and all the infrastructure along the way. Maybe network atlas will disappear completely…

I see no mention of the GUI re write based in the request HTML5 engine the current GUI is very out of date and many users are complaining about items like auto refresh imagine if google maps was not based on HTML5 when will SW update orion core engine

That is why I said ....Cisco is winning from three angles.....i.e. making people used to it and then getting them to support and recommend these products...

The last weekly prize, the Samsung Gear VR Headset goes to ... milstateit@mil.wa.gov. Congrats! Stay tuned for the grand prize winner announcement.
-
jeremymayfield, this time you won't need to wait one week. The next mission is right around the corner, so to speak.

Guys, points have just been awarded. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We are still accepting feedback, but from now on we don't award points for this survey.
-
c'mon solarwinds... make this standard after SO MANY YEARS
-
There's a similar request here where I asked some questions, though you answered one, that you would also like to see it in filters http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/2188
-
I did exactly the same thing - and got a red X as well!

SW MIB browser says 'unsupported OID'. I've sent the MIBs to support with a request they be added to the MIB database. The file was the most recent for our R730s: Dell-OM-MIBS-840_A00.zip

We currently track our changes manually, this feature would be very nice to have.

Perhaps to be a little more clear, I was hoping for something more like Cisco's Smartnet TotalCare CSP Collector which has a Device credentials manager where you can create different profiles for different a) protocols/transports, user accounts, and targets and order them by preference. Below are screenshots to better…

We have been interested in this as well. Perhaps if the FAQ recommendation could be more dynamic and narrow down in real time as you are selecting the request types, that would be even better. Also, not forcing the "Link FAQ" button with a new note- just display them automatically in a field adjacent to the Problem…

The points come after the challenge is over.

Bshopp – Also, are you the right person to help me with another free tool, the WMI Monitor? I have downloaded 1.0.0.45 and it is not really working. If not, could you refer me to the right person? Thanks Gabor
-
Oh, and just to make it clear, you will get points for answering.
-
I'll have a look at this. But don't worry, esther, as soon as the questions comes back to twitter, you will still be able to answer it, because it will remain open until the end of the mission and we're drawing the winner on Friday.
-
Happy trails, indeed. Thanks to everyone here on thwack and in the Alert Central community for contributing along the way.
-
I have the same need as brownd1124. this would be a very useful feature

It sounds like you had a great time. I was laying awake last night yearning for some travel. I miss the world. It has been fun watching it pass by for the last few years but as with a lot of us, my circumstances changed and I ended up on the road too this year. I'm not even sure what that yellow stuff is? Is that some sort…

Danielle, Check out What kind of NAS does Storage Manager support? Humble me with your wisdom as you normally do, Thanks.
