biggest issue I see from this is you said REMOTE DC. if that means you are moving all the polling to a signle link then if that link drops to the remote dc all your monitoring will stop. having the poller in/near the core of your network alows for pieces to fail and you to continue monitoring. like you said painting…

Since you are upgrading the firmware, the switch should reboot. There is nothing elegant about scripting for an upgrade as there is no logic built into the script currently. It looks fine to me, keep in mind functionality is much more important than elegance.

Make sure your Settings->Node List has the "Automatically expand node list to the node level". If it's grouped, the report can come up blank.

I was having the same issue, after copying the package, but the original package from Solarwinds worked. So what I did was, download the install file to the original package, then copied and made my edits, and that worked for me.

APM uses a different service from NPM, so the only overlap will be the general memory and CPU of the box, and it sounds like you've got plenty of room on your box. I'd like to see what actual users are seeing in the field, though.

Hi I noticed this as well intially, but if you look clearly it does not remove them in a sense it just unlicenses them, so they remain there , but they do not consume a license, have a look at the drop down list and select licensed and they should not be listed. Kind Regards James
