rob, Plugging another network sonar discovery related feature request here. http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3183

adecisco1 silverbacksays it's fixed. A small glitch caused the question to have radio buttons instead of multiple choice buttons, but you should be able to answer it now. For those who already answered, no need to try again, we have your names.

I'm also see this need, some of the permissions in a number Orion modules is no where near as granular as it needs to be.

in screen shot clearly showing I am asking about question 7. what do you mean true or false.

Quick update: points and badges have been awarded. Let me know if you think you are missing some points.

I would like to suggest this also be expanded to duration over threshold. Example: Link A 2 B was above the utilization threshold of 70% for DD:HH:MM. I chose to use Splunk to calculate this based on the trigger and reset events.

Maybe I should just use less rectangles...

Right? They build in support for Billy Bob's Arrays but not for enterprise stuff that big companies use.

I second that. I think Coursera is a great and very motivating online platform for learning a lot of new things, not just skills to add to your CV. For me, the key to learning is interdisciplinarity. I was surprised by how useful my linguistic studies turned out to be when I tried to learn SQL.

I put mine in just the first one as well.

Hi, I am also looking for similar situation in my network. If parent device went down, then all the devices connected to it will showed up as unreachable. With that my mailbox got full of emails. So is there any way out for it. What I want is if particular device went down and the devices which went unreachable should come…

Some of us say "Me'Lady" when addressing royal ladies. I learned that from Aloysius Parker.

Jfrazier, are you talking about the hint?

I had never use GNS3 but I'm going to give it a chance.

Yes, it does superfly99!

Agree with the 2nd approach - pretty much every other Enterprise monitoring suite can do this (affect node health by polling / inbound traps / other integrations) and it's a key feature that i'm surprised is lacking / easily configurable. If it can be set via triggers that's awesome, but I haven't seen any obvious info as…

Awesome! Thanks so much!

I'm also not a US resident, sadly... :-P

Oh, now your comment makes much more sense Glad we managed to figure it out. Sometimes the platform where we host the questions plays tricks on us.

I remember one time I wanted to upgrade to Thwack backpack 1.0, but I didn't have enough Thwack points. I saved for a long time, and just as I had enough the Thwack backpack was out of stock! What was happening, was there a new version coming? I foolishly spent my points elsewhere, classic mistake - well documented. But…
