hi I am new here. currently I am using your custom icon for my NPM. I am having problems using the icons as they appear to be rectangular images on my web console but it works just fine at my Network Atlas. can I know how you made it work at the web console?

I need an additional poller to get enhanced visibility. I have less than 100 nodes to poll but the cost to do this is way too high (more than GBP 10,000). I have been advised to use NetPath but it seems more like a stand-alone feature that doesn't integrate well with the rest of the platform. Any advice?

Can 8.5 be utilized to create an advanced alert based on syslog messages received by Orion? How about Orion Events? no and no. it's sorely needed as a feature Agreed.

There is already an alert setup for High Virtual Memory Utilization with Top 10 Processes. You could make a copy of that alert and then adjust it to suit your needs. And as you can see, solarwinds uses percentages and MB/GB to display free space for virtual memory. Hope that helps.

Are you using an alias hostname to connect to the server? For me it was stuck at connecting, but when I used the proper fqdn it worked fine. Might have to do with the settings on database manager.

UPDATE: I tested this on multiple nodes with alerts, nDepth and both configured with the same results. The difference between this server and the test server is it's behind a firewall but all ports needed are open and all other tools seem to work fine from these servers.

OK, I can now get my Device Type to login by using the precommand setting and I can match it using regex, but this breaks the Device Type for the other software versions I run. Same here, I'm unable to remotely connect with Network Atlas on 12, and local connections it works about half the time. I reinstalled the local and remote copies of Atlas with the newest version. TCP connectivity is good. Just trying to pull up a map is enough to lock up the local install at the moment.

 This is a known bug. The "job" submitted by the AppBuilder is just getting in line behind all the other jobs. In SP2, we will now give AppBuilder priorities a free pass to the head of the job line. SP2 should be out soon.

I had been having an issue with the login failure error message too. I tried different account types but had the same message regardless.
