Doesn't this change it for everybody? If I am working on cleaning up the data base I need things to be static until I hit go but the folks on the NOC need their every 30 second (or whatever) refresh.

I used wireshark and saw that it was only four queries a minute except every five minutes is was perhaps 100 get-next requests. And as I thought about it - 31,000 in a day isn't such a great number - 24 a minute on average. Someone had raised a concern. But much ado about nothing really.

Great, I feel that i am getting close. but it seems that there is no interfaceID in the CustompollerAssignment. they are all listed as 0. Have i set up my customer poller incorrectly? Regards Tom

Mark, I have tried double quotes and single quotes - same thing. In fact I used the elipses next to the command when I built the alert to drill down to the notepad command. I noticed that when I did this it had eveything in capitals so I thought it may be case sensitive - nope. Still searching.....

Yeah, I figured there wasn't any other check marks to do. It should just work, but it doesn't. I'm not trying to do anything special whatsoever. Just to get alerts working.
