This solution seems to be a bit out dated. Is there currently any other way to create a top XX list of the physical memory utilization which i can add to a view?
-
I do not see it listed in my avail. product list.

How often are the surveys and where can I get updates about them?
-
Create a custom field, put in the serial there. That's the best option currently for Nexus devices.
-
The only way to do this now would require that you stop the poller, update the database, and then restart the poller. It's not possible otherwise, but it's something we're planning to add.
-
How? Nothing's selectable column wise on the map.
-
Found it. Thanks Nandish.

I have discovered that a more accurate output is made by changing the /8 divisor in the script to /7.5.

We expanded the width of that login dialog for a similar customer-reported issue, you should see it with the 5.5 RC/release (which is imminent). I'll add your implicit vote to the fix, though.

Thanks.

you are able to edit right now via the file correct? Yes, but it is a real pain to walk over 100 reports to reorganize/regroup all the reports for the web console view.

You may want to mark this question as answered -- even if the answer's not what we hoped :-/

Yesterday I installed version 10 and added two 3.5 ESX hosts. For both hosts I get CPU and Memory information from the hosts themselves but not from the VM's running on them. Simple see the message that there is no data being collected for this. In the FP I see a comment that 3.5 works well. How did you manage to get…

CA program is a Helpdesk program tracking tickets, etc. I uninstalled on my system but it is installed on all our clients.

We also have a requirement to gain visibility into traffic flows from our ASA 5550 firewalls for the purposes of analysing web site traffic etc. I understand but the ASA's data flow does not include traffic. It does not include the standard NetFlow data.

Great news that it will be back in the next SP I look forward to the update!

Hi Brandon I have raised a ticket for this issue #266803 Kind Regards James

Thank you Jacob. I have voted on your feature request.

Has anyone figured out how to do this with the custom MIB poller? I can't seem to find the right OID... Jeremy

This is the NPM included in the Engineers toolset. It is installed on a WIN 2003 R2 x64 server.

Good Morning alTeRegGo! Thank you for your reply. According to this feature request Recently more application services are beginning to support web services for monitoring application health and performance. it is correct, such support would be very helpful. But it also seems like a minor change, no? Because if you work…

I don't think there's enough information for anyone to comment. It may require a Support ticket with diagnostics included to figure something like this out.

In the next version of NPM, we will provide a mode that allows users to set certain interfaces to show "unplugged" rather than "down". When an interface is unplugged, they won't show as a blinking square.
-
Thanks for your feedback qle! Don't know a thing about the product but know it runs on one of our servers. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get complete answers from the Systems guys so I thought I would post here to find out whether the product might have multiple services to monitor. You answered my question. We're…

Good point. I find we do have another chassis which is (apparently) reporting correctly at around 14%. I'll ask the SME to see what the difference is.

If we discovery multiple IP's for a single device within a discovery profile, we de-duplicate it. Brandon, which ip is used when doing de-duplication? In the case of Cisco, please say Loopback. If there is no loopback specified, is the highest interface address used?
-
I hear ya, and I have looked it up, but I didn't see it there and have no knowledge of adding it to the monitor. Is the version I use too old posibly?

I,m upgrade NPM from 10.4 to 10.5. But I am not sure that it because of an upgrade. I didn't track CPU loading until now. Comments from techsupport Solrawinds Orion: "...From reviewing the logs it appears that the Multicast routing is causing problems within the Data Processor. I have the following suggestions: ** Before…
