I followed your indication but you can only assign pollers massively, unassign is not possible, isn't it?
-
also.. if you have a machine externally you could install a Proxy on it, which effectively routes the web traffic via that server.

nickzourdos - LOVE IT!!! Very clean and a great idea!!

I did a quick search using "Unmanage Calendar" but I didn't see anything.

Thanks for the confirmation, Vinay. I am converting all our non-admin accounts to active directory so the users can control their own PWs. It's really surprising that they can't change their password if they're a local account. It's kind of like building a car with no windows. You just don't do things that way. I'll do the…

I tried re-running the Config Wiz but it did not fix it. Any other suggestions?
-
Looks like it... Problem is it just doesn't look professional if you have to send to your customer base. We have a similar report written in the old Orion Report Writer and it's fine (seems like a backward step to me) and they don't have these issues, problem is I can't get it to work with sub-interfaces on the Firewalls…

That did the trick. Thanks for the quick reply!

Thanks! I'll give that a whirl. Steve

Hello Chris, Thanks for reply. I've downloaded trial version and installed. I observed there are lots of options available in this software, obviously price is also high whic is not our budget (~ $ 2000). I just need only ping tool (not any other service monitor), which keeps record in database, so that we can fetch out…

Sniffed, it hits the server but appears the service is having a hard time starting. We do not use the Orion product.

I am auditing exchange securtiy mail box audit , the event log volume is about 2 gigb log , the box is a server with around 32gb memory. The logforwarder.exe process spickes to 10mb and stays between 10-11mb , with this i have no problem ,but i am afraid it will crush the system at some point , Can the process memory get…

Can I just extract the host-resources-mib for AIX and load it rather than installing another tool on my AIX server?
-
i dont know how i do this can you plz tell me the way how sql alert for trap will be configured??
-
Thanks for the doc Josh! I have a better understanding now.
-
what would I enter for the instance name?
-
That is one option, just wondering if this was a known issue. My manager just wants all option explored. If the recommendation is to upgrade, we will have the browsers updated.
-
No, works fine in Chrome and FF. We did clear the browser cache, that did not help.
-
Thanks, somehow I missed the fact that CPULoad was already in the Nodes object. No need to use the linked object like I was doing.
-
Yeah sorry forgot to mention that. I'm only seeing NIC's with Poll for VMware button checked.
-
Bryan, Multiple pollers will get better in the future, but it's going to be a little while. It requires some significant backend changes that are coming, but just not as soon as you (or I) would like.
-
Okay - so I added SNMP to one of my ESXi hosts and when I try to add it to NPM, it only shows the NIC's under the resources. I'm not concerned with the drive space since it's on a SAN, but I was hoping to be able to capture CPU and memory. Thanks,
-
Thanks. I assume the storage in the screenshot is the local storage of the ESXi host and to get my SAN data, I will need to configure that per the SAN device?
-
Thanks for the reply Roger. The issue is that each Orion is maintained seperately and some authenticate to AD and other's don't (might not be an issue). The local Orion administrator might have only created a single login for a remote user to access their Orion and then I have to add this data into each EOC user's Orion…

Do you have any example? I am new for report writer.

Ran the repair, but when the Config Wizard launched, it ended up tanking. See below errors from the 'Configurationwizard.log': 2009-02-10 13:40:29,154 [6] ERROR ConfigurationProgressScene - Could not Alter DataType of WebSettings.SettingValue to nvarchar(255)[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]String or binary…

Yann, Thank you so much! The SQL query will increase my productivity instead of waiting for the Alerts Manager to trigger the actions while I wait. This definitely solved my problem of how I've been setting up my alerts. Thanks again! Byron

I'd like to gather (at first) only the page count printed, and if possible, broken into a timeline of sorts (by month, year, lifetime, etc). I will check out those UnDPs for sure though! Thanks Rob!

What's the event log forwarder to syslog called?
-
Great - I will test this Template. Thank-you.
