I've found the automatic inclusion of wireless an issue too, I'm being spammed by UDT alerts for devices attaching to our guest wireless and it's getting really old very fast. I don't even have the ability to say, don't alert if it's on wireless or wired! Ideally I would like some control of what's included (i.e. the WLC…

toulon, the fill-in-the-blanks questions (like the one from today) allow you to try your answers as many times as you want, until you get it right. The multiple choice ones don't. For these ones, only the first attempt counts, unless there was a technical issue, when we will tell you to clear your cache/cookies. So, don't…

Congrats and welcome on board!

Always read the days comments before answering! I've learned that the hard way too lol.

You can still enter the drawing for this week and for the grand prize as well.

I got the red X as well - told me I chose onedrive when I hadn't!

It would be very nice, if in addition to letting users without node-management rights search for multiple nodes, they could take maintenance action on them as well. For example being able to use custom properties to search for a particular group of servers, then be able to Mute or Unmanage them all at once.

Agreed! It would also be great if you get interrupted while filling out a ticket and had to work on a different one. Save as a draft > switch to new ticket > come back and pick up where you left off.

One more chance to win a Loot Crate subscription and another one for the grand prize, which will be announced on Monday. So, make sure you correctly answered all 10 questions to be entered. And let's not forget about the second part of the mission, where you can win one of the three Ultimate All-Access Pass from INE.

This would be a nice feature to have in principal, but it has some nasty side effects when you look at it from a higher level. The implementation of this would need to ensure that when it comes to creating rules, the correlation engine is not impacted by view limitations, as some rules will correlate a chain of events from…

The question is open again. For those of you who already tried to answer and got it wrong, make sure to clear your cookies, and give it another try.

Proactive, amen. Positive customer service and respective end-users. It's possible.

You can only answer July 8th's question if you know what the secret handshake is.

I quite like those.

awaisranacs, if you have any questions about the SCP exam, you should check the Certification forum. You are more likely to get an answer there. Also, make sure you are using the correct contact email: certification@solarwinds.com.

So for today....I click on the button to go and vote, I went and voted, I left a comment, and still no points and still acting like I've done nothing for today. Looks like another issue for today.

I've seen several threads from 2014 on saying that Solarwinds was aquiring Pingdom, but I don't see their monitoring app under the "products" section. Was it purchased and renamed to a different product name? Was the product integrated with an existing Solarwinds product? If so, which? Thanks!

Yeah I agree this is standard procedure for most via the user interface. Always good to raise awareness though for those not aware how to use appstack.
-
jgraci91, which questions allow you to answer them more than once?
-
You guys are awesome!

This is looking great, hoping to have an NPAS up and running early next week, do you get any extra NPAS & SPAS licenses with additional pollers? I take it pricing for both will be coming on the release of the GA for 11.0?

Did a little digging on this as it exists today: * (Oracle) Solaris 11 now uses some built in auditing other than BSM, so it's not covered with the BSM connector no matter what (boo). * According to our internal documentation (from when we integrated with Solaris 10), Solaris 10 BSM does NOT require Snare to log to syslog.…

dtawater, mdecima, matt_rees there are 2 types of questions for this mission: radio button response and fill in the blanks. The radio button one will not allow you to retake it, while the fill in the blanks (question 8 for instance) will let you move on to the next page, to enter your thwack id, only if you enter the…

YOU ROCK unwiredmedic!!!!! Totally broke that threshold and got a rush. What a nice way to end a Friday.

immanuvelc, day 17 is a fill-in-the-blank type of question. You need the correct answer in order to be able to move to the next page. If you're submitting a wrong answer, the page simply refreshes.
