Gents, irrespective of the fact that CLI is delivering, the point I want to bring is that Cisco has not focused on the NMS enough to give you the user experience. As your user experience is not good enough ( which is quite opposite compared to the other parts of telecom networks), it is natural for you to defend what is…

Guys, thanks for pointing that out. Technology is failing me today. I'll try to fix it, but meanwhile, use this URL: How To Not Be A Bad Network Security Engineer

Another great story will become a cartoon strip this week. Congrats to nystateofmind and his story , from which we've learned how important communication between teams can be.

Any table/chart that you create in a filter is automatically available to be used in the ops center. Just pull down the "Widget Manager" and use the filter name on the left to find it. You can send filters to nDepth, but that just sends their criteria, not the chart criteria. It would be cool to be able to draw the same…

I wouldn't worry if I were you. There's no such thing as too much Solarwinds knowledge. But it's clear that you people need more difficult questions, so that your brain doesn't get out of shape.

gsutherland@sharoncu.com, and it will look even better with those extra points you all will have from the May mission. That is what I am working on .

I agree, this would make things much better and nicer for techs to view FAQs. There are some minor editing you can do with BBCode, but I found it is limited to only specific BBCode actions predetermined in WHD. It would be great to have more flexibility with HTML: Notes can be formatted with HTML or BBCode. URLS and E-mail…

We only had use of it for a couple of months......after that, took advantage of every opportunity I had to increase skills & knowledge. I've…
