Soon. We're about to test on a few customers before general release.

no additional poller must be on a differrent server I got lucky and waited for the v10.2 release before getting the additional poller and found that the increase was enough for our current situation. yeah the way you were describing the problem just was like a flashback to my issue so hope I helped you

Questionario Did you get any solution for this yet? I am looking for the same thing: Set Up an alerts on packet loss on interface
-
Yeah, I'd like to be able to do this too. Custom logo doesn't work with reports run through web console.

What's frustrating about the preferences is nowhere does it mention thwack Update emails. How am I supposed to know that People, places, and content I'm following (Followed Activity) equates to thwack Update emails? What's frustrating about navigation is the fact I can't even find my discussion I started in Getting…

So, I see there is a Packet Loss Source --> Dest. but there doesn't appear to be Latency Source ---> Dest. in that selection criteria. When I go to the " + " to add some items I don't see some of things you do..here's my screenshot of what I can add.

Keep in mind, that you can setup local users in SolarWinds regardless of whether you integrate AD. If AD were not authenticating, you could still log in with a local SolarWinds account. Most polling is done with SNMP and as such is seperate from AD. If you have security policies that prevent the joining the box to AD,…

See if this gives you the Temperature.... if it does I might have the rest. 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.2.3.2.1.4

We would like to try to avoid using the notes field if at all possible. Do you happen to know if there is a way to manually set the AcknowledgedBy value using a SQL command? Is this method even recommended?
-
After Orion 9, we'll be re-working those pages, and we'll fix this issue at that time.
-
One feature the trap collector in its current form has that was rather nice although not completely evolved is the ability to right click on a message and launch the rule creation dialog with some fields auto populated. Any word on if this functionality will exist in any form in the next version of the syslog or trap…

apitanga, If you're still on 8.1, I strongly urge you to upgrade to 9.1. We have made so much progress since 8.1. The thought of you missing out on all that goodness makes me a little sad.

Ok, thanks Jiri. Thought Sumitomo was on to something.

Similar to my other post: "> The following would trigger for more than 12 node downs in 12 hours. Type of Property to Monitor: Custom SQL Alert Set up your Trigger Query: Node WHERENodes.NodeID IN ( SELECT NetObjectID FROM Events WHERE NetObjectType = 'N' AND EventType = 1 AND EventTime >= DATEADD(HOUR,-12,GETDATE()) GROUP…

OK. I get it. That's a feature request. I've captured it in our database.
-
I wish this would have been known before I upgraded. FYI This is happening on more then just 6500's I have F5 devices that this is also happening on and some MPR routers. Actually, the issue I was referring to was present in 8.5 as well. If this is new to you in 9.0, it may be a different issue. Have you opened a ticket?
-
Your original post said "active alerts", so this might not be what you need. If you know the SQL, you can use Report Writer to build an Advanced SQL Query.
-
I'll give that a shot.
-
I don't know your device, so I can't be precise, but you would use the AppBuilder in APM. First, add the printer as a node in Orion. In the APM AppBuilder, choose WMI Performance Counter as your monitor type. From that component monitor type, point the AppBuilder at the printer, and it'll show all of the WMI counters on…

I like to think of it as NPM will monitor everything it can via SNMP which in your case includes your windows machines to get some basic information like Disk volume size, response time, cpu, memory, etc. SAM will go deeper into your windows machines via SNMP or preferably WMI as it will poll more information. This will…

We are doing the works. IPAM, NPM, SAM, UDT, etc. All on the same polling engine. What kind of disks do you have in your SAN?
-
works a treat, thanks

I'm fighting this now... I've tried numerous spaces/tabs/setups in the file and I can't seem to get even a test set of 16 IP's to work. It looks like it polls them, but doesn't import - thought I can verify snmp individually.
-
Check your settings. They should say: Settings Auto Select Subnets = False And each line Settings must have spaces in front of it, too.

Getting same error on importing template"The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found." Could anyone let me know how to overcome on it. Thanks...!!!
-
Not sure what was going on. I deleted the scheduled task and started over. Worked fine.
-
Hi I have seen this in the past sysUptime 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3 = Is the time the management agent has been up not the server. Its always been a misleading measurement when it comes to servers. So if someone has restarted the SNMP agent then most NMS systems will think it rebooted. What NMS systems should be monitoring if…

I would open a Support ticket.
-
Hi, Nice, this seems like it is working now. When i raised a ticket a year ago it was not possible. That is awesome. Thank you for your help. Regards Tom

Our next release will focus on the custom polling UI and engine and address some of these issues.
