They could not give the timeframe on Beta, RC and Final Version of APM 3.0. Just to be clear, we are a public company and our auditors have instructed us that we are not allowed to provide timeframes on new releases. We're not trying to be difficult, we are just trying to follow regulations.

You can graph multiple UnDP values on a single chart.
-
Wait.. APM: Application can't use ${ApplicationStatus}??? What kind of crazy logic is that?

Dean, I think that's a mis-interpretation of our roadmap. The Sales rep asked me about it, and I said that I couldn't promise that we would have support in the first half of 2008. That doesn't mean it won't happen, but it means that I haven't had engineering size the effort so that I can figure out which release we can get…

To get the report, I'm backing the start time to Sep 7th at 11:45PM or selecting the "Today" option. It's not exactly what I need, but it close enough for now. I would like to see it fixed. Rick

Well there are many reasons. * I don't want to waste 4 GB with data I don't need, I can use that space for better reasons. * Query a 4GB DB is slower then query a 100 MB DB :) * Backup 4GB of data is slower then backup 100 MB and I'm wasting space again, and so on... Thank you.

I'm not sure why that'd be the case. Attached is a screen of how I think it should be configured, but unfortunately I don't have a Sharp printer handy to try it out. Maybe one of the thwack folks can try it out with their equipment? The error message means that the device isn't returning a value for that OID. Not that the…

Thanks Zack. Is there a way to create an asset inventory report filtering by operating system? That seems like it might be faster than creating custom fields.
-
That’s a shame. 3.0 has several nice features but only interest to us is Reports - See a report on Wireless Endpoints. I’m more interested in ability to filter on UDT variables in NPM and UDT resources.

I have this same problem but reverse DNS is working fine. From the box running NTA the reverse DNS for every one of its top xx endpoints resolves perfectly fine using the nslookup command util. But nothing shows in NTA except IP addresses. Even devices which are managed nodes in OPM (including the Orion server itself) just…

Perfect, you do not need the .* though, the end of your pattern was the second letter in the second word so anything beyond that is completely ignored. jhodges125 also can you mark this solved?
-
Hi Christine. I can give you some more information. I notice you are a customer of Database Performance Analyzer on thwack. I will take this offline and contact you. Kathy

Thanks, would greatly appreciate it.

I can recreate but deleted what I had this morning when I was working this so currently I only have 2 alerts, one for over 91% and another for over 99% - which gives me duplicated alerts if one is over 99%.

Upgrade license? We beta'd APM, have an active AM maintenance agreement and heard nothing about an upgrade path. Our sales rep hasn't mentioned anything about it either ... but was happy to give us a quote for a few thousand $$. On top of that, we tested the final RC on our production system as requested by SW who assured…

OK many thanks, however this is an existing server but I will check the permissions

It looks like you're doing everything right. If it's not hiding that tab, you may have found a bug. Could you open a Support ticket with this info? forms.netsuite.com/.../externalcasepage.nl

APM does require you to assign HTTP monitors to a node, but it doesn't matter which node.
-
Not included in 9.1 SP 5 ? Any projected ETA? I hope so - would make life easier
-
Click the Edit button in Title bar for the High Errors & Discards Today resource then paste into Filter field.
-
If they are all 1 then you did a "select all." Setting those all to 0 will take you back to nothing monitored. You could then use the filter that shows last 15 minutes. That should help you.

Good evening! My name is Chris Nanda, with Blue Horizon Systems. We have actually accomplished an Orion NPM integration in the past using a custom executable which would fire from an alert in NPM. We too were originally informed the Perl script would work, but looking farther since NPM is a Windows based monitoring tool,…

Have you tried doing a Rediscover through the GUI after creating the node? In my case, my nodes didn't start polling correctly until the Rediscovery happened, which in my environment is 240 minutes (4 hours).
-
Are any of these items included in the on-line product demos? See what we would be able to use until we can get a 30-day demo insalled? Brent
-
I have same problem. How i can choose fa 0/1 interface when i Discover a switch with 50 ethernet Interface ? I dont want to go in "Manage Nodes" to delete.
-
Ok .. Thanks .. I would say I will download the demo and give it a try but I need to get Orion on a new bigger server first. Maybe this will push that issue along a bit faster now. Brent
-
Hey Mike, In the Universal Device Poller, if you expand the node and select the poller(in the pollers folder under the node) do you see data in the upper right pane? If not, go ahead and open a support ticket and get some diagnostics and we can investigate further.

If i add node in unmanage mode then it will stop accounting of node plus dependent application template right?

Same problem here with v9.0.1, specifically *.SNMP-GRAPH files, but I haven't tried the other file formats. The typical manual was to associate extensions with programs does not work. Mine is a Win2k server. Has there been any resolution on this bug?
-
Yes I am trying to display separate UnDP results on the same graph. I am not trying to trasform 2 results to 1. Can I request this as a feature or is this already on the enhancement list? Yes, it's on the list.
