from the Admin Guide for EOC (www.solarwinds.com/.../wwhelp.htm) Setting Up User Accounts and Roles You must create an Orion EOC account for each user who needs access to the EOC web console. This allows administrators to control the Orion EOC Views and the Orion NPM data each user is permitted to access. For each user…

Thanks, those timestamps look good. Could you try rebooting your virtual appliance (you can send a CTRL+ALT+DEL from the virtual console and it'll trigger a reboot) and restarting your console? Here's a couple more things to take a look at, if it's still not resolved. Ensure the LEM VM is synchronizing time with your ESX…

Hotstandby doesn't support module at present.

Was there any resolution or update on this? I am having this same issue - no statistical data is appearing in Advanced Alert Manager. I have opened a ticket with support, but thought it would be nice if there was a response here aside from simply "Open a ticket." I don't know the support number for the previous poster, so…

Thanks. VMAN is working perfectly. IVIM seems to be the issue. Even when I disable integration with VMAN, I get "Host Status Unknown". Time for a ticket with support.

Contact sales@solarwinds.com and explain the problem. They'll put you through to Customer Service to sort it out.

It's in. Look in Network Atlas, and you'll see that applications that are running on servers will show up in the left-hand tree. They can be dragged onto the map.

We have had thousands of customers upgrade from 7.8 to 8.x without any trouble. It's even easier to go from 7.8 to 8.5 than in the year-old posts you're referencing.

A little insight - our app, being Java-based, is using LDAP, and the DN it binds to relies on the full domain name not just the NT domain name. We use the domain name to match against the right DS query connector (should you by chance have more than one) and the \ in general indicates to auth against the DS instead of…

done that, it worked a treat, thanks for a great fix.

Are you running EOC 1.0 or 1.1? The import tool doesn't work for 1.1. We're going to release an updated tool for use with EOC 1.1 and NPM 9.5.

I haven't researched this, but do the ASAs send the regular NetFlow data as well asn the security info via NetFlow or is it just the Security Info? Nope. Just the security info.

I think it could be more effcient and effective then syslog. Can you provide more details? What are the specific use cases?

I used this and I am coming up with multiple answers. Could there be a Cartesian join here? And I have since renamed the template, but the old template still shows on the nodes that were added previously, so I need to check for 2 templates at the same time, I tried putting an or between template names, but I got an error.…

Sorry I had a death in the family and was out a few days last week. I appreciate your help greatly. I have ran a few queries against the DB before, if in doubt I can always ask someone from the DB group to help me. And yeah there are 2 core templates for the Windows nodes, there are some with other template, but very few.…

I'm pretty sure the UDT additional poller needs to be installed on a server running NPM additional poller.

Apart from the stuff I listed in my initial post, what about hooking into vSphere server instead of going direct to each host? Or the ability to do both if you don't have a vSphere server? Then we should be able to pull a lot more information. And you can then link into things like your storage profiler app etc...

There were issues with restrictreports in 5.6 (not all ports were blocked as expected) but 5.7 should have resolved them going forward - it won't necessarily retroactively apply to existing settings, only new ones (hence the suggestion to re-run). We can't really promise/communicate a timeframe for the next release, but…

So... What is the solution? Does anyone from SolarWinds want to make a comment?
-
but you don't want to set the Orion server to GMT?

Thank you. This is getting more visibility as we dive deeper.... Now I am being asked to send alerts if non-standard countries appear on our country list. So we are going to be wanting this soon.... Anything you can do would be great!

We are having the same issue. Can you post any findings? Thx much. Stig, we'll need those diagnostics. Can you run those and attach them to a Support ticket?
-
Hi Could you let me know how often the stored proceedure is executed to delete interfaces Thanks James

Hemi, I checked with the Dev team (which includes Tim), and it turns out Casey is already working with your case through Support. We'd prefer to keep the troubleshooting in one place rather than trying to coordinate both Support and Thwack, otherwise we end up multiple people duplicating effort and stepping on each…

Ok, time for me to eat a few bites of crow. The only piece that was a problem was that the web service moved from http to https. As soon as I figured that small point out everything was rosy. So I can report that, with that one minor point for my environment, the upgrade really was as easy as advertised. Drauc

sorry, here:

As it is now, think of it as scaling vertically, but not horizontally. You can build a stack to distribute functions, but you can't build multiple stacks that work together. Single virtual appliance: * Collect syslog data and process with effective 'agent' * Consolidate data from all agents * Correlate consolidated data *…

No configuration wizard log either. This is the standalone web server without the entire NPM suite installed. We've moved NPM off the SQL server, as well as the website.
