You're already getting disk usage from NPM on the Node Details page for each server. Do you want to measure it again with APM? Maybe you do, but I'm curious as to why. It'll help me to figure out what to do with the product going forward.

It says I have 0 interfaces managing my Netflow. I have discovered the interfaces 3 times, and they are in the DB, but the program refuses to use them.
-
Well.. dang. No, apparently we're not using that module. Which I suppose would explain why none of the tables are there! Thanks again, Scott

Tick tock.... waiting on support, yawn. Opened ticket 154117 at 0735 this morning.......

I may be acting totally stupid here but the long list of drive names is under a ANY condition. Unless I'm misreading, only 3 of them are tucked under the "any" condition. The rest are at the same level as the "all".

Can't give a time frame. I've had this feature in a release before and it got cut, which could happen again. Things are fluid, so I'd rather not provide dates, even ranges.

All but 5 and if needed I coudl delete them. I was using something like where networknode = [1xx.1xx.xx.1x].netperfmon.dbo.events.networknode

We have exactly the same problem. Would be good for us to know this answer ASAP too! Thanks, Chris.

I'm looking at the original problem, and you want to alert on a down state for some interfaces but not others. That's very possible today using custom properties. Label some interfaces "Critical" and other interfaces "NotSoMuch". Then add "custom property=critical" as another condition on your alerts. Although you will…

Thanks. I have totally missed the release of 6.2 so I will definitely upgrade to that and take the agents into use.

Actually, I have done this, and have it displaying at the bottom of the page. I added a Node Tabular Universal Device Poller to the device details page. Then you can add the poll results. My current problem is that I am using the deprecated OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.19, which no longer works for my 29xx and 39xx routers with…

Peter..... Thanks for the assistance. The page view in the subnet scan is a litte embarrassing I didn't have my window sized right so I did not see the arrows at the bottom. Anyway the subnet scans are progressing and I am solicatating all of my support groups to jump in and take a look and provide their feedback. So far…

our network traffic is going through a CISCO PIX 525 PIX VER 7.0(4) I just googled netflow and cisco pix 525 it seems pix 525 does have netflow protocol, how do I verify that or turn it on if its off? and where do I see the snmp string? I have access through the browser or ssh, you metioned telnet? more info I just used…

If anyone has read my original post (Jan 15, 2014 3:44 PM) I clearly explained what I want to do and why I am whining. I have invested over 40+ hours just to get a basic group alert configured which is still not configured. I have spent hours on the phone with Solarwinds and still no group alerting. TCO does include my…

I found a documents says universal includes windows servers.

A dozen?! Wow. I tried deleting it and readding it in a few times, but not THAT many times... O__O; It's tough right now cause now I've had to resort to adding individual accounts. it would have been SO much easier if this was actually working properly. I also updated the security policies to allow the lower level groups…

It was a coincidence that table OIDs weren't found. Turns out IPSec tunnels don't show up in any sort of tunnel MIB until the tunnel is active (aka traffic has gone through it). This explains why I wasn't getting any results for the tunnel tables even though I'd created policies. Thanks for all your help!

That's a good idea, but I'm not applying any views. You might be right that its just a coincidence... I did a test on another MIB (ENTITY_MIB), ... OID=.1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.16.27, Type=Integer, Value=2 OID=.1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.16.28, Type=Integer, Value=1 OID=.1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.16.29, Type=Integer, Value=2…

Oi.. something is .. weird. Set it, again, like you said. Got the same output in the query output/Log tab window. I even tried giving it a minute to read the new value.

And have you posted to RIM's forum to ask them to build a standard browser? Because if they did that, it would just work? Their latest--on the Bold and the Storm--is supposed to be better. Have you tried those?

Small companies that I work with, would be forced to move to different monitoring platforms if we were forced to move to core licensing for SQL. It would be a horrible situation.
-
Thanks for making that clear, NTA is currently running on this poller. I will be sure to move it once we get a green light for the new servers. I guess another device cal for NTA could get expensive so it might better to go with CPU licensing as you originally stated. I need to seek some quotes to find out what the exact…

Hello Steven, Just wondering if you got my reply to the question you asked last week? Thanks

Cheers for your help on this I Have now got it to work. Here is my batch file commands ICACLS D:\Serv-U\%1 /inheritance:r /grant "%1@test.com":(OI)(CI)F /grant "system":(OI)(CI)f /grant "Administrators":(OI)(CI)f In Serv-u I made an event with an Execute Command Pointed the path to the batch file and added $LoginID as a…

You could try rsprim, he is supporting it now

Could you be any more cryptic, I have this issue now running 9.1 and the people who are getting the alerts (the administrators of said devices) keep getting false positives for more than half of the alerts. I'd have to agree. My response was not clear. Worse yet, it's more than 2 years old, so I don't remember exactly what…

Patched file has been installed, I will keep everyone in the loop. Thanks.

Donald I have asked for this too before, and it is very very frustrating that it is not in the product. I am part of a major MSP and we have customer who have nodes with diferent support hours on different nodes. I do not want 1000 different alerts that include different nodes that only trigger at certain times as this…
