I agree with option 10. If you have Solarwinds and you have network equipment you need NCM.

It is June. Come on already.

We have redundant VPN tunnels to a cloud service for DB traffic. we are currently using NetPath for a visual representation as to what router is being currently used when the tunnel goes down.

It worked for me thanks for the help.

I have output that looks the same as yours and no acknowledgement. Any help would be appreciated. Looking at the DB table for AlertStatus there is nothing in any of the fields.

Thanks I will give that a try. Appreciate the response.

Is anyone monitoring this thread anymore? I was wondering if this would work with an O365 deployment?

We use NOC views everyday and can't live without it. We have two people on our network team and I setup a NOC view for us and we have a monitor at each desk that is sharing the screen to using a black box and VGA splitter. We are at 8 different tabs showing us some network information, maps, 3g/4g info from our sites and…

We are monitoring the DNS name of the device on the interface we are interested in monitoring to get the up and down…

Are all ports on one vlan and needs to be changed to a new one? If so you might be able to do a compliance report looking for that vlan then create a…

Won't be taking this one. Proud of being an SCP but I guess when it expires that will be it. I like the ideas above about including SCP with maintenance. Will ask sales rep if they can add with next renewal or purchase.

Not sure if this thread is dead or not but for us we got an email about something that was wrong with the VNQM download and to reinstall. When doing that we found a hotfix for the web UI and installed both. All is well now and fixed a bunch of issues we had after the upgrade.

NPM and NCM are a great combination. NCM has been a life saver for me having only two of us to manage over 60 routers and 200 switches all at remote sites. I have created compliance reports and custom config change templates to make managing all these devices easier. I have even used NPM to monitor the devices and run an…
