hi @"markdavidboydisback" roadmap updated!
-
Thanks for sharing the detail Mark. I'll ad to backlog and start investigating. Can you give me more detail as to what "large" means? Is it a large number of the same log at a particular time? BTW we have a neat new log pattern analysis feature for logs that is ready for early access... let me know if you are interested in…

Hi, This is probably best to merge with this FR, as mapping is a core feature (across the Orion platform): The good news is that it's on the What We're Working on list for NPM: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-176899#start=575 And the latest version of NPM, has new mapping features covered here:…

Hi Peter! Since 2023.1 - you navigate to "AlertStack" under MY DASHBOARDS>Home
-
Hi Chris! I pinged you there - will jump on a call with you to investigate. Thanks.
-
hi @"Troglo" I'm the Logs PM! I'll reach out to you on this one. Thanks for sharing.
-
Hi Mark! I'm the product manager for Logs. I'd be happy to set up a call and talk you through the above points. I'll DM you.
-
hi @"hnz980" I'll set up a call with you an product mgmt to discuss this.
-
Hi @"dodo123" and @"dilbert1234" you can disable/manage anomaly-based alerts like any other alert in HCO: @"solo_kem" when designing anomaly-based alerts we chose the metrics that were most important to customers, and also suitable to anomaly-detection. In the ideal-world all metrics would be added to the feature - but…
-
Thanks for your feedback Steven. That is what we're looking at - create an account type that will not expire to deliver this functionality or similar. Thanks again!

The only licence you need to use anomaly-based alerts is HCO Advanced. The anomaly detection (AD) happens in the cloud, and to segment the data we require a SWO tenant to co-host the AD. Once you create the ingestion token from SWO, you no longer need to login... It will continue to work even if your SWO login expires. We…
-
Hi, the SWO trial is a temporary measure to give access to generate the token. Once you have the token generated from SWO, you no longer need to login to SWO and anomaly-based alerting on HCO continues to work.
-
Hi Noor, ticket has been escalated internally.
-
Hi Shaun, Unfortunately the thresholds you can set for the individual volumes don't work for the alerts. it just works for the volume resource percentage slider. To set the alerts on volumes, you are best to use custom properties to group them and set the percentage per custom property, as opposed to saying when volume…

OIDView.org is a site I use when trying to find OIDs. Otherwise you can run an SNMPwalk of the device or contact the vendor. \Derek
-
No probs Shaun! TBH it would be great if it was all listed under the edit node page with the other thresholds! Feel free to add feature requests and/or vote on existing feature requests! Best regards, Derek
-
The servers you are currently getting hardware health from will have Dell OpenManage installed. You need to ensure you have this installed on all Dell servers you wish to see hardware health for. Regards, Derek
-
You can set the custom poller threshold in the settings:
-
You could use the Universal Device Poller in the Network performance Monitor to do this. Orion Network Performance Monitor (NPM) can monitor any SNMP enabled device. It has native support for a wide range of popular vendors and devices and as standard it will monitor a range of performance statistics such as CPU/Memory…

Use the online demo to see the difference...here is a link to VIM: https://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/Orion/VIM/VIMSummary.aspx?view=VIM+Integrated+Summary Check out the VMAN Dashboard to understand the full capability of VMAN, particularly recommendations, sprawl, storage and capacity. /D

Hi Shaun, That's why you have to go to the individual volume and not the node! If you go to manage nodes and follow the steps above you will see it: Regards, Derek
-
Hi Marnell, Looks like a connectivity issue.I guess you haven't logged into Thwack via Orion or the server is not connected to web. Regards, Derek
-
Hi Venh, Not right now. Those feature requests mentioned above relate to that and are included in what we're working on right now. Regards, Derek
-
Hi, The screenshot you sent won't work, as I can't access your Orion. What type of servers are you talking about here? Have you installed the required vendor specific agent on the server to deliver hardware health? Regards, Derek
-
Hi Kimberly, I would like to see how you achieved alerting on routing table changes. Regards, Derek
-
Hardware health in SAM is from Dell, IBM, HP and VMware. Please see here for more info: Configure hardware health monitoring
-
Hi Natchata, You just drag the map you want linked onto the main map. Manually draw the link and follow the steps above. Regards, Derek
-
<> I would install NPM first then NTA, NCM, SAM and SRM todo on un(o) MS Server box. Install the other tools como per the install guides. Then follow the integration steps en the install guides. It's todo there! Everything you need is here: Success Center - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support /Derek </>

Hi, if your device supports the following OID's then it should be supported. If you don't know offhand you can run an SNMP walk of the device to check. Polled OIDs * cswSwitchInfoTable: * cswStackPortInfoTable: * cswStackPowerInfoTable: * cswStackPowerPortInfoTable: * Serial número and Model Nombre from ENTITY-MIB: * POST…

Whatever you set the threshold for will replicate in the status. So if you set critical at <70% it will show as red on the map. It's probably better to put the custom poller on the map and use that,as opposed to the node. You'll have a more accurate representation then!
