There is currently no way to do this, unfortunately, but it has been requested by many users. See this feature request, http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1246, and add your voice to it. Thanks, Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

They have not changed all of the documentation yet, but you are looking for Connectors. They changed the terminology from tools to connectors. Hope this helps. -ChrystalT Loop1 Systems: SolarWinds Training and Professional Services * LinkedIN: Loop1 Systems * Facebook: Loop1 Systems * Twitter: @Loop1Systems

What version of LEM are you running? They changed the labeling in version 5.5 (I believe) as people found the NATO5 labeling confusing. The rules are all still there though. I am running the latest RC for 5.6, and they have reworked the labeling system for the rules. They are no longer labeled as NATO5, and are now broken…

Your pictures are not showing up. Do you think you can attach them rather than copy/paste?
-
Why not create an alert for those devices? Then you can have an email sent when it reaches 60% and 70%. I don't know of a way to change an individual node's thresholds though. Hope this helps. Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

Have you tried re running the config wizard for the website? After unblocking the ports, I mean.

If you open up a feature request, post back with the link so we can vote! Thanks, Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

I have not tried this, but theoretically you could add &dataformat=xls to the end of the web page that you have selected and you would see it in the email in excel format. Once again, I have not tried this though. Thanks, Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

You can use dynamic queries for group creation, which would automatically add them to the group, but you can't add custom properties during the sonar discovery. If you add them manually, then you can add the custom property at node creation. Hope this helps. Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

Is this what you are looking for? If so, it is listed under Summary Reports - Various Reports Showing Problem Areas > NPM Network Topology. Hope this Helps. Thanks, Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

Mikeyjay, Create a view in settings>manage views with the resources that you want to see. You can use the multiple object charts to combine certain elements on a single chart as well. Then you will want to add a view limitation. You can limit by the vendor, APC, or simply select the nodes that you want allowed on the page.…

The admin guide has an appendix with most of the ones you will ever need to use in it. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/LEM/Docs/LEMUserGuide.pdf Appendix E. Hope this helps! Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

Since you have already configured the chart, if you click on it it will pop up in a new window. About halfway down you should see a drop-down menu for changing the sample interval. If you click refresh, it won't change it for good; but, if you click submit, it should save the changes. Hope this helped.

That looks correct. Any switch that has the StackedSwitchState UnDP assigned to it with a value other than 4 will trigger that alert. Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

How long ago was it? In older versions, there would have been a GUI along with the web interface. Over time though it was dispensed with in favor of moving everything to the web. NCM still has a GUI, but not NPM. Of course there are still the resource GUI's for Advanced Alert Manager, Report Scheduler, Report Writer,…

In your account settings, do you have the browser integration set to yes?
-
As far as I know, you are not currently able to do this. There is probably a feature request open for it already.
-
You should have to submit the MIB info and update to Solarwinds, and they should update it so that you can download it from the customer portal.
-
You should be able to import the node, while not importing any interfaces. Then go to the node details page and "list resources". You should be able to select the two interfaces that you want to monitor from the list. Hope this helps.
-
I don't think you can do that. If it is a list of IPs then you could copy and paste the column with the list into the individual nodes section. Otherwise, I think you have to input them all manually or use a seed router. Hope this helps.

You are most likely looking at setting up Universal Device pollers to pull down the information, and then you can set up alerts on those UnDPs. I would recommend doing MIB walks to find the OIDs that you want from those devices which you need to monitor this information on. You can then use the OID to create an UnDP. When…

In the web console, go to the settings page. On the bottom right, you should see license details. That should give you the info that you are wanting. Hope that helps.

If you used the installer that contains both Crystal Runtime and LEM Reports, you may still want to download and install the separate Crystal Runtime installer from the customer portal. In my experience, it nearly always errors out when just using the dual installer. I find it better to install separately and to install…

Have you tried to find it in Node Management?

Changing the node name is universal, but you could perhaps create a custom property with a description. Thanks, Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

You should be able to use the ntpconfig command to set it up to sync with an ntp server, or alternatively use the tzconfig command to manually set the time zone. These should be listed in the appliance menu. Thanks, -ChrystalT Loop1 Systems: SolarWinds Training and Professional Services * LinkedIN: Loop1 Systems *…

Could you post a screenshot (blacking out your names of course) to give us a better idea of what you are seeing? Thanks, Chrystal Taylor' http://www.loop1systems.com

When creating an alert in the Advanced Alert Manager, in Trigger Conditions change the Type of Property drop down to APM(SAM) Component. Then you should be able to select the component name and alert on the value. Hope this helps. Chrystal Taylor www.loop1systems.com
-
You can do this using a Multiple Object Chart, listed under Multi Series Charts. When you edit it, just change the type of property to Components and select the specific components for the specific nodes. Hope this helps. Chrystal Taylor http://www.loop1systems.com

Another work around that I found a while back was updating the registry to reflect ssh in the telnet space. Then you can point it at SecureCRT or PuTTY or whatever program you want to use. This would simply change the Node Details resource to use ssh instead. You would need to change the registry setting on every computer…
